Where the bloodyhell is Harry Kewell?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Well it all looked so promising when he signed for 3 million a few years ago but we have been managing as a team without him and I think everyone is use to him not being about now.

Quick sale in January??

Whats the betting we make the champions league final and he makes a dramatic recovery to take up his position on the left wing ?

I think that sums up his entire stay at Liverpool so far.  :D

I really dont care what anyone says anymore!

Nothing can change my opinion that he is happy to be injured and collect his wages...Personally i feel he is more interested in appearing in glossy magazines with his missus or going on TV shows showing off his luxury house than he ever will be in playing football!

We dun need him. He is too old and too slow. Offloading him will free up tons of salary as he is one of the top earners at the club.

I was going to say that, however I wish he weren't here so we could forget about him for good and get rid of his wages. If I were off sick that long my company wouldn't continue paying me, I'd be on government statutory sick pay and I doubt that's £50k+  a week.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Keep the faith, he's had a bad time with injuries but when he comes back I expect him to become a regular first teamer again.

Saint, do you think he has the time? his contract runs out end of this season. he has to prove himself now but yet he is mostly injured and i will be suprised if he doesnt get another injury again this season.

Good point... I really rate Harry as a player but its time to be rid.... This particular investment just didn't pay dividends...

If he comes back and scores a sh!tload of goals and helps us to the premiership.... then all past sins are forgiven.. :p

Doubt it'll ever happen though...

This is not a charity organization, this is a top club, and we've been waiting and signing up left wing players on the assumption that Kewell would recover. The likes of Gonzalez were supposed to grow under the shadow of the man who always was about to be recovered.

Get rid.

We would get nothing for him now as he can sign a pre- contract at Christmas, so we might as well try to get something out of him on the pitch. Hopefully he plays great all season, is happy and so is Rafa . Then at the end of the season we can decide whether he is good enough or not to risk another contract.

Groin Strain eh? I'd have permanent groin strain if I was married to his bird! :D

But seriously though, Harry hasn't given us any return on our investment.  He's been one of, if not the most injury prone player we have ever had! He's a quality player but what use is champagne if you can't drink it!
