thing is ..the lad LOOKS the real deal coming on the field and  at auxerre he looked awesome at times ON it. but..........

surely by now he has both recovered mentally AND physically. he's had games too, to be fair.
so is it just a lack of technical ability? or strength? or is he too cocky?

i say keep him till january...if not he must be viewed as a saleable asset. while there is still a realistic chance of recouping a few bob on the deal.

maybe it is houliier's fault. maybe cisse was getting buttered up too much, and we all hoped/expected our gaffa to know his onions and deliver us a gem! we waited long enough for this 'hot prospect' almost it seemed at the time, he was already a surefire hit without even playing for us. the press also do their bit 
so expectation was high..too high?
and now, maybe the same thing is happening with the 'welcome with open arms' approach over joaquin? seems to be.. he may also be a false messiah. he more than likely may not, but all the same..........

Owen played upfront and scored 2 goals against w*nk sides.
Cisse played wide right against the meanest defence in Premiership history.
