But hes playing in a squad of world class players. Unfair comparison me thinks.

according to many on here torres, gerrard, alonso, reina, carragher are all world class players so where is the diffrence

not all the argentina team are world class players

No, but only most of them are.

If thats true its time to get rid of Gerrard.

You're mental.

If he cares more about himself than the team then :censored: him.

If it's true, then my earlier comment in this thread about Gerrard was a prophetic one.

I don't know if it is true, I never noticed anything apart from Gerrard and Carra shaking their heads but I thought that was at the way we were playing.

If no one else noticed it, its probably boll0cks.

I'm staring at an empty bottle of Bacardi here. No, I have not drank it all tonight, but I'm sort of wishing there was some in it now because I'd hit the f*cker big time.

The gerrard thing is speculation, but if he did say that then oh dear!

This is all very criptic and very annoying at the minute.

People are deluding themselves thinking he will be our manager next season, totally deluded.

much better than the mascherano at liverpool

so saying he hasnt improved under rafa is fair.

There is no point in analysing national teams, players can play brilliantly in World cups, and otherwise be sh!t.

Mascherano's matured with us, he was outstanding when he joined us last season and this season he's been one of our best performers.

He has definitely improved.

so what are we judging him on then in terms of progressing?

his west ham form

all of two games?

Playing in the UCL, playing a significant part in helping us reach the UCL final, he's come on another level with us.

Now, he's proven at this level, before he was a risk that many seemed reluctant to take. Overall as a player, he has improved significantly in the time he's been with us.

I don't believe that tbh. Doesn't make the slightest but of sense. I know footballers aren't the brightest sparks in the word but you'd have thought they'd have the brains to confront the owners or speak out the press instead of not trying on the football field. Oh wait, even better, maybe Liverpool are involved in match fixing???

Nope nothing to do with the dressing room I didnt even say that.

Some people will be shocked and wont believe it but you will all find out infact sooner rather than later now.

Did you used to be known as "Welsh wizzard" by any chance Ciggy? This is not a time for games, i'm :censored: off enough as it is!!

Erm, no, no, and no.
Gerrard has been playing mostly on the right. His most productive season has been on the right, and frankly, since he's been moved into the center he's been off somewhat. His natural position may be in the middle, but the facts speak for themselves.

Sure we haven't got the same sauce??? lol Heard yanks will not sanction the money for Mascherano and he will be off to Italy. Spurs also matched the fee and wages but he don't want to go there and it was never going to happen.
