Think we'll win this one, simply because we have to.  Benayoun will play out of his skin.  Narrow victory I reckon.

I hope we don't play cautiously due to the number of goals conceded recently. We need to win and there's better prospect of that if we score 2+ goals. We have a chance to crush our previous Premiership best points tally of 82 (05/06) Only seven times have we won more than 25 games in a top flight season and only five times have we scored more than 86 points in a top flight season. (converting all seasons awarded two points for a win to three points)

You wonder whether the mancs will play well and win, cheat and win or get lucky and win - it's usually one or more of the three.

West Ham are no pushovers which they once where under Alan Curbishley. They have a well organized defense now, concede very few and play some lovely football even with the average players. I can see a scrappy 1-0 or 2-1.

And Sabre, Tristan scored from a magnificent free kick against Stoke the other day. I reckon there's still some quality left in him.

Well I am going for at least 4-0 , not interested in what has happened so far, we struggled against A) or we couldnt break down B) or remember what happened when we played C)* they are an average side at best and the days of us struggling against them or anyone else have gone now we are more attack minded ( if only we played that way sooner ). Get them Hammered ( see what I did there :D ) and then its over to United to get the result against City ( its forecast sunny here in Manchester on Sunday so Robhinio and Elano will love it )

*We have not actually played teams A ,B or indeed C I just used them as examples :;):

I think that because the Mancs are in the final, they now have pressure from it which could mean that they could take of their concentration on winning their remaining games in the league. Hopefully they can slip at least a draw against city, we need to beat west ham or thats it.  think we can still win the league:p

It's only a few games left in the league the :censored: will probably use the momentum to their favour. It's not like they were remotley pushed to any limits yesterday either. However if City give them a good game then maybe there is a chance as im sure Arsenal will be looking for some sort of consolation revenge when they play them in the league.

You can choose not to display sigs, I do and it is a lot neater and less hard work ploughing through the threads

More rather impressive numbers.

Our best points totals after 35 games.

1.  1987/88  -  81 points  [finished 1st:  90 points from 40 games]
2.  1982/83  -  80 points  [finished 1st:  82 points from 42 games]
3.  2008/09  -  77 points
4.  2001/02  -  74 points  [finished 2nd:  80 points from 38 games]
5.  1990/91  -  73 points  [finished 2nd:  76 points from 38 games]
5.  2005/06  -  73 points  [finished 3rd:  82 points from 38 games]

This is already our 3rd highest total for the season since we last won the league.

2002 and 2006 are the only seasons that we've finished with more than 77 points.

For the first 36, our previous best are:

1.  1987/88  -  84 points  [finished 1st:  90 points from 40 games]
2.  1982/83  -  81 points  [finished 1st:  82 points from 42 games]
3.  2005/06  -  76 points  [finished 3rd:  82 points from 38 games]
4.  1981/82  -  75 points  [finished 1st:  87 points from 42 games]
5.  2001/02  -  74 points  [finished 2nd:  80 points from 38 games]

Feckin they better look for some consolation revenge. They have played shyte in the whole tie against the mancs.. Complete disgrace. Wenger has now played them 3 times this season so he must have figured how to play against them. With that experience for this season im hoping he will organise his side and get something off the scums. Really doubt it though most likely best results i could see for arsenal is a draw.
