I have my doubts about him myself,at times, but we sometimes a difference of opinion adds variety to a debate. If we all spoke from the same book, things would get pretty boring around here.

bring on the new season and a few more players before the deadline arrives.

I swear to god Im a liverpool fan! Ive jus spent 30 squid on a man city ticket, about to pay 17 for the gratz home game.
All though you all want to kill me ,  for some of my comments.
I confess I do go overboard.

is it wrong to criticise people then?

Listen, I aint gonna come on here and kiss no-ones Backside.

14 years withought the league, I want perfection.

Somewhere where Arsenal are now,in terms of class, is the target for me. Im sorry, but Liverpool FC are not the kind of club to be sitting in midtable 30 points off the top.

If thats where we want to be, then tear down the shanks statue outside the kop, im sure he would be turning in his grave at this minute in time.

It's your confrontational approach that has ruffled a few feathers and of course the in-excusable attack on me and thousands like me who were caught up in the clubs darkest moment.
There will be no zzzzzzzzzzzzzz from me,well not for a few more minutes, because I like to give everyone the chance for their say, wether I agree or not.I inturn expect the same opportunity to be afforded me when I reply.

the trouble that i see hustler is you criticise a player and are happy that they prove you right

most real fans criticise and hope that they come good

I think sometimes you prefer we played ****** just so u can say "I was right and I told you so".

yes, but the ones i criticise, i cant stand, and they have no right to wear the shirt, earning a nice fat paycheque.

I would love to see him stay, i think he has given us a lot and i think he still has the quality to produce for us. Last season was not good for him but his goals record speaks for its self !

No one should underestimate just how great Owen has been for Liverpool. He has never got the full credit or affection he deserves, and I always believed he would be dearly missed if ever he left. However, I'm no longer sure that's the case. If he leaves, I believe we can safely say that the king is dead - long live the king.

To me, Cisse possesses the potential to be even better than Owen. I'm not just saying that to kid myself, I really believe it. Settling into the Liverpool side (and one in a state of rapid flux) and into the ferocious pace of the game here may render comparisons unfair in the first twelve months, but I sense Cisse could go on to eclipse even Owen's achievements. He's still an unproven quantity here, but the regularity and quality of his goals for Auxerre - not one of the dominant French sides - tells you it's just a matter of time before he finds the net as regularly here. Unlike someone like Bruno Cheyrou, who looked scared of his own shadow (you can only imagine his terror when playing under a myriad of floodlights), Cisse is made for the Premiership.

Owen and Cisse are actually very similar players - quick in body and, in the box, quick in mind. Cisse is more like Owen as a player than he is Thierry Henry, with whom he shares more physical - and geographical - characteristics, which lead to inevitable comparisons.

Ah been away for a while nice to see things havnt changed too much (although I must salute the Hustler he must have some nuts)Lets take a time out here for a moment. Things do seem crazy with all the players leaving and no replacements that we know of arriving it would appear that things are not well at Anfield at all. Personally I think we simply need a couple of weeks more to sort out our house. Somebody has already mentioned that his 'insider' is talking of players coming in and whilst Im scepticsl its exactly as he states the logic behind it is sound. We need to remember that whilst we all became critics under GH and after the last two years we deserved that right however Rafa's in charge now and we must not contribute in whatever small way that might be to any extra pressure. Just remember what he has achieved and how he has achieved it this guy unlike Gh has the creditionals and at the end of the day Im sure he is not happy with his current squad he has got players off the books I thouhjt even my sunday team wouldnt take and has freed up money for wages and places in the squad. Im not going to comment further about Owen its all been said before but whatever happens just remember WE WIN. Also I feel its important to bear in mind where we have come from over the last two years its been terrible and the players played their part we have a new era to look forward and that might include some heartbreaking decisions (why has Murphy signed for Charlton and not chelsea Arsenal etc, unfortunatly he is not good enough and if he isnt good enough for them he isnt good enough for us, it breaks my heart sayin that coz I liked him alot).
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

I hope Danny well. He tried hard but at the end of the day he is an average player. Good enough for the premiership, not good enough for Liverpool.
