WATFORD VS LIVERPOOL - Where do we go from here?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It will go either two ways today we will be like a wounded lion and tonk them everywhere, or have as much confidence as little Mo off Eastenders and get beat by relegation fodder.

It's the early "lunchtime" kick-off match for us again.

I'd take any win, Watford would put up a strong physical game plan like they did against us at Anfield which gave us a tough time before we scored the first goal. I'd take any win, scrappy or thumping one as long as we don't add to the walking wounded list.

We need goals to win matches Daws, and its my opinon at the moment out of the two, Crouch and Kuyt. That Crouch looks as though he has got them in him more. With all of Rafa's rotation policies it dissapoints me somewhat that he doesnt rotate the forward line as much. In that Kuyt always gets the nod, and for all his hardwork, he doesnt win us matches with goals. I honestly cant see why he gets more playing time than the other three. He's good and we all know Rafa likes a "team ethic" even fromhis forward line, but at the end of the day goals win you matches and I bet his goals to games ration isnt s.hithot. I'd like to see Robbie used more I think he'd contribute more in that area (goals).

To add to your point, dirk kuyt has been poor away from home, the goals aren't there, only hardwork.. hardwork don't win games. i think crouch post more of a threat away from home.

Lots of knock down by crouch was not met by kuyt due to his lack of pace. bellamy will be able to get to those balls easily. so i will go  with bellamy and crouch, rather than crouch-kuyt.

remember how kuyt scored that goal against arsenal? maybe bellamy should stand in front of the keeper, cause crouch headers are directed straight to the keeper, then bellamy will score lots of goals ..  :D

not weakened, just from watching them this season i can see fowler (robbie, not pauline) exploiting them as hes got it in the head to win these types of games when the confidence may be low
