Screw this, i'm going to bed. Its friggin 2 am and I'm horrified that we almost certainly have lost 4th place now after so much promise in the Champions League.

I hope rafa gets them to get there act together so that an optimist can say 'I told you so'...

the defense is nowhere, hyppia and carragher have been poor so far, infact the whole defense is, actually the whole team is

he should bring on cisse and go 4 it, nothing 2 lose now

im in work right now and will get to watch the 2nd half 1st time since i got sky in 2000 i missed a half of liverpool football, even when i went pakistan i had cable installed especially just for me so i cud follow the lads, hopefully get a revitalised 2nd half performance

Does anyone know why Arsenal put the sprinklers on 20mins before the game isn't it so we slip, cos the 2nd goal led to a slip by carra and were just slippin if you have any ideas please tell me.

That was a horrible first half for Hyypia and Carra as well. Nothing to lose now. Take off Hyypia and Hamann/Gerrard. On with Cisse and Nando/Nunez

this was an accident waiting to happen, us away from home and on a bad run in the prem, very inconsistent against arsenal who are on a fantastic run of not conceding a goal in 10 games and a huge winning streak, they have scored the most goals of any prem team. We havent been crushed this badly for years This is our mighty liverpool, no wonder we havent got anywere in the league, dont know how we ever got to the cl final

Our defense is slaugther by the slick Arsenal Midfield and strikers. Mostly the midfilders are having a go at our confused defense. Need to control the midfield..

Arsenal's players are better at ball control and passing. Need to pack midfield so nothing much can go thru except long ball. Our defense look jaded and lack confidence after the 1st goal. Need to buck up and have more confidence. Gerald looked lost, Alonso too. Baros need to be quicker and sharper.. need to use his head. Oh forgot to mention Riise, he looked lost too. Maybe they don't want to get injured.. It is a dilemma.

What we need in 2nd half is a penalty, a good corner and a freekick outside the penalty area to win... We can do it.

Arsenal are leading...no surprise about that. The choice of weapon...speed. Carra and Hyypia get slaughter when a herds of speedster are running rings around them. Not help by Garcia losing possession and Troare misdirecting passes. Arsenal are defending so high up that our midfield are overran. Those short triangular passes might sound simple but Arsenal's players seems comfortable on it but not ours. Which is why Arsenal are doing well in the league but not us. Until we sign another couple of nippy skilful midfielders, we will still come up short because the English teams will close you down so fast some of our players are just plainly uncomfortable...oh yeah, as good a ressurection Hyypia made, he is still plain f*ucking slow week-in and week-out playing in the league, and opponents will take advantage of that.

And where the f*uck is Dudek's positioning when the freekick was taken? He leave a gap so wide we can fly a small plane through it

There are two teams of Liverpool:
Liverpool A who play in Europe and Liverpool B who play in PL.
No surprise should Liverpool B (with such display) beaten by Arsenal, we were simply outplayed by Palace before.

To be fair to Dudek.. he saw it late. His view was blocked.
As to the size of the gap, normaly goalkeepers leaves their right side gap slightly bigger because their strong hands is on the right. Also so that he can see the freekick taker kick it.

I think the wall was made to go too far back by the refree. and the wall not properly formed, such that no gap for Dudek to view.

to be realistic we have no chance this half, if we get anything i will be amazed but wont be surprised if we concede more, we may aswell hand everton 4th right now as we havent a chance, goodbye champions league all because the players decide they dont feel like fighting for a win today agaisnt an arsenal team who dont need to win this game, our players are lazy and pathetic in the premiership and anyone can beat them which has been shown. On our day when we actually put some effort in we can beat anyone such as the chapions league but any other time they dont even bother trying and have no hunger for success in the prem
