Voronin's gone! - - but only for a year....

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Redman in wales » Mon Sep 01, 2008 4:55 pm

Breaking news on bbc..

Voronin has agreed a 1-year loan deal with Herta Berlin.

More to follow....

edit:

from the offal:

Andriy Voronin has today agreed a one year loan deal with German side Hertha Berlin.
The Ukrainian international joined the Reds twelve months ago and has netted six goals in his 27 appearances for the club.

Voronin has so far failed to establish himself as a first choice regular on Merseyside and has taken up the opportunity of spending the next season in the Bundesliga.

Good luck Voronin .... but who pay his salary for the 1 year loan ? If we are still paying his salary , while he's playing for other club , this is the best moves from Rafa again ....

Madman, it's usually the club taking the player out on loan that pays.

In certain cases, it may not be the full wage - but Voronin wasn't on a big salary with us, so I'm quite certain that Hertha would be paying his wages in full.

Yup ! He's not bad but no place for him ... I hope his moves will make "space" for Krisztian Nemeth. This boy is good ...

Does this mean that he isn't going to the Mancs now that they failed to get their man in Berbatov? :D

Cost us nothing apart from wages and whilst one goal per 4 point something games isn't great it's not that bad.

Hopefully he's off the wage bill and Hertha make us an offer come January, not a bad piece of business if Rafa can sell on something he found in a skip for a bit of profit.
