Inspired by the constant requests on this forum for us to sign second rate Dutch players with ridiculous names, nows your chance to decide who YOU think we should sign.

Apologies for my ****** poll setting up skills, the last two are stuck together.

in answer to you question i think vand der vaart and van der meyde would be excellent signings for liverpool and would greatly improve the team. all of us should pray and hope we get them because i dioubt they would be interested.

der meyde and der vaart are not second rate son........

Van Der Vaart would be awesome alongside Gerrard.
I would prefer Jaoquin on the right as I think he is far superior to Van Der Meyde or anybody else mentioned here in that position.

Houllier loves him but we cannot afford him and if wouldn't happen.

Did you not here Houllier raving about him last time we played Ajax, he said in 5 years he'll be one of the worlds best 5 players. He's a fantastic player but he won't come here. Probably Barcelona.

van Der Meyde hasn't impressed. Not seen enough of him.

We will be getting 30+m to spend on players from whichever investment is accepted plus the extra cash from the champs lge and yet we couldnt afford VDV?

How much do you think he would cost stu 50m?

Oh yeah barca have loads of cash stu pity they are over 160m in debt ha ha
Again barca managed to sign Ronaldinho yet they were only in the uefa cup this season,yet we should have champs lge and still all you can say is it just wont happen?

i hate to admit it but barca are a bigger club than LFC.

van der vaart wouldnt cost a penny over 15m a sum i wouldnt hesitate paying for him as he is worth it.

We are signing Cisse and we are suposed to be signing a centre half. van Der Vaart would cost at least 15m so yes i am saying we can't afford them.

Also Barcelona have a stadium with three time our capicity and there average gate is double ours. They can afford whoever they like. There assets more than cover there depts.

If you believe everything you read LFC are 50 million in dept.

Stop talking ****** and looking for an arguement you pedantic nugget.

We aren't going to sign van Der Vaart.

Hey stu you really are houlliers rent boy.
Cisse is from what I hear 6m up front and a centre half would be another 6m which leaves us 18m just from the new investment alone not taking into account cash from the champs lge.
There is not forgetting the 20m tv rights from the prem lge.
We have more than enough for VDV if you are able to add and subtract.
Barca can buy anybody they want even with massive debts?

I think not you only have to look at Real Madrid this season when they only signed beckham and were forced to sell or release 11 or 12 players cuz they are in so much debt.

stu is right van der vaart wont come but we can hope.

teams with HUGE debts arent allowed buy players (ROMA last summer)
barca as stu said will buy big.
also it looks like they'll sell ronaldinho for 66m to chelsea-be stupid if they do that he has been carring them like gerrard us.
if chelsea do get half the players they are linked with we're all ****** including arsenal.

Disagree.

The player who's made a difference at Barca is Davids. Ronaldinho is a class act, but he's not good as people say. I doubt he'd fit into the english style.

Still, its all good.
