Barcelona's debt is absolutely enormous but they can still pull off one big transfer a season as both Real Madrid and Barcelona can push their luck in a serious way with their creditors as it is an unwritten rule in Spain that banks don't call time on Madrid's and Barcelona's debts.

Van der Vart has repeatedly said he wants to go to Barcelona so I reckon its only a matter of time before he goes there.

Davids is class i admit but ronaldinho at the moment is PURE class
and has carried barca.... maybe they bith had something to do with it.
barca have had a great season compared to last season.

Twice in 5 minutes I'm gonna agree with Stu the Red......Rafael VDV is a class act and maybe we could afford 15mill, the simple truth however is that sadly we are not a sufficient pull to attract the world's best young players, a category inwhich he undoubtedly sits.....

I'm not sure I'd want to sign a cloggy anyway, they are notoriously stroppy and disruptive....that said if we could buy a young Bergkamp there'd be no arguments from me.....

I read that Koeman said he would let VDV go for around £10m cos they have this other young lad at Ajax who he thinks is going to be better, £10m is a good price for him I think.

i think hed come here. we got the money, we got the CL, why not? We got stevie G for him to play alongside so what more could the guy want? I seriously think we are gonna go for VDV in teh summer
