Based on today's performance who would you have play against Portsmouth.

Chris Kirkland has been the goalkeeper for 10 games, he has only kept one clean sheet and has only made 14 saves.

Jerzy Dudek was the goalkeeper for 6 games and kept 3 clean sheet's and made 20 saves.

Dudek should start ahead of Kirkland until Kirkland sorts himself out.

Josemi won't be able to play because of his 5th yellow card so I would replace Josemi with Stephen Finnan. Djimi Traore should play instead of Riise in the back and Riise should move up to the midfield if we play a 4-5-1 formation.

Riise and Kewell on the flanks with Hamann protecting the back four. Give Gerrard space up front and let Alonso control the passing game leaving Baros/Mellor up front.

With a win over Portsmouth we would be in 6th place if Villa lose or draw tomorrow.

Risse or finnan at the wings should be only used as stop-gap measure.

Now that we have kewell (getting back to form) & nunez (the only recgonized right winger we have), its time to play them.
