Yes folks am bored without LFC not in action. So i was thinking who was our most underated player of the last decade? Had to think long about this and come to the conclusion that my player has to be SAMI HYYPIA. He was a immense CB. But the thing is about the crucial goals he scored. Ie v juventus and arsenal in CL. also he never moaned when dropped, he didn't spit his dummy when Ged gave the captains armband to stevie. Sami i salute you a TRUE LEGEND

For Liverpool, it would have to be Sami ..

Other than that, it would have to go for Scholes

I would say Alonso also. Although we recognise him as a great player, the one poor season he performed for us had many rallying to Rafas decision to get rid. Definately the most under-rated player we have had.

Henchoz definitely.

Everyone goes on about Carra, Hyypia, Riise and Finnan but Henchoz never gets a mention and he was a very solid defender/goalkeeper.

No way was Hyypia under rated. From his debut onwards we all realised what a great player we had on our hands.

I'd agree with that Reg. I would go for finnan because he was a more polished player than riise. When finnan was playing for us we took him for granted. People didn't realize that our RB position was as stable as feck. People were ready to replace him with a more flare and exotic RB. People thought that he was just another Phil Neville type of squad player...
