not really relevant anymore but nonetheless a shame for the lad. (left-back seems to be a bit of a poisoned chalice this season) get well djimi.
Charlton Athletic will be without Djimi Traore for two months after announcing the Malian has suffered a hairline fracture of his left leg. The defender suffered the injury blocking an Andriy Shevchenko shot in the 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
The Addicks' £2m (3m euro) summer signing played on but was substituted shortly afterwards, with Radostin Kishishev taking his place.
Iain Dowie's side suffered three injury blows during the match, with both Andy Reid and Souleymane Diawara expected to be out for up to a month with hamstring injuries.
The result is a significant crisis for Charlton, with Jonathan Fortune, Gonzalo Sorondo and Jerome Thomas also jostling for position on the Valley treatment table.
