I think Sir Bobby is a god in football management but I think senility has set in. He seems to of lost the plot.

Think shearer runs newcastle anyway they r scared to disscamode him they will have to drop him cause he wont be there next season theyll have to get used to playin without him dont get me wrong shearer is one of the best strikers in prem.  But they have to move on now, what really peeyed me off last seasons last game against newcastle when houllier stood huggin SBR on touchline for 20 mins they both came out bout 10 mins afta half time an SBR deffo said give us a draw lar, wanted to kick houlliers head in we should have won 3 or 4 nill that day

What is it with every time some one writes new it turns red??? Anyway to keep this post related to the topic, what kind of prominent footballer can we sign that hasn't already been linked to us ( and we know is available for transfer)

on the official lfc site it says that alan shearer almost signed for us at the start of last season. apparently houllier and sir bob had agreed a fee of £3m but freddie shepherd vetoed the deal at the last minute.

imagine shearer and owen upfront for a couple of seasons! :)

should we really be wasting time on talking bout shearer has been great player but should be looking at playing for bottom half club, not championship hopefulls.
Back to original topic i liked the look of jorge andrade in euros despite scoring own goal looked solid and quick for portugal at the back, would really love aimar as well sorry know its not a newbie and possibly a long shot as he seems settled in spain........but hey the thoughts nice
