yah right

some people are just so good on hindsight.

i certainly remember that we were estatic at having captured kewell for 5m back then. I mean, Harry Kewell from leeds for only 5m. Now its easy to say that was a bad deal. but im sure 99% of fans would have wanted him back then.

the same with nando. now people say its a bad deal. remember how we were so happy with his capture.

if you were part of those that were happy with these signings back then, you probably have no right to blame anyone cos if you were the manager you would probably have done the same as well.

most likely we will get a fine.
Bill Shankly after beating Everton in the '71 cup semi : "Sickness would not have kept me away from this one. If I'd been dead, I would have had them bring the casket to the ground, prop it up in the stands and cut a hole in the lid."

Hopefully the investigation will be kind to us since the transfer hasn't been of any benefit to us.

 Yeah it will probably just be a fine however these days, you can never predict how these football authorities are gonna act as their behaviour towards certain situations is very sinister. :glare:

The footballing authorities are ALWAYS out to screw over the english teams, watever they can do to make our lives difficult, they will.

Does anyone else not find it rather suspiscious that in the last 3 years, two STRONG english sides have ended up playing each other in the CL?

Just a theory..

Thats right! you would never have, say, the 2 Milan teams meeting in the semi's, the authorities would ensure they play in the final.
Oh and er, we will not be banned

English sides drawn together..

2002 - 2003 Chelsea/Arsenal (Quarters)
2003-2004 Liverpool/Chelsea (Semis)
2004-2005 Liverpool/Chelsea (Group Stage)

And each of them teams in the respective campaign has looked capable of going on to win the tournament..

If we had drawn Everton in the qualifiers then I'd agree, however if there are only 8 or 4 teams left in a tournament, well, you know, there is a least a good chance they'll meet.

Kewell is just a nuisance. He spends more time on the treatment table than actually playing football. And then this transfer ban farce! give us a break!  :no
