Today some greek sport newspapers say that Traianos Dellas whose contract with A.C Roma ends this sommer is at Rafas plans.
He wants to stay to Roma but they have a lot of financial problems and they cant keep him.
They want also to sell Totti.
Dellas was the best defender of Euro 2004 and starter in the Euros 2004 best team.
His height is 197 cm and he is 28 years old
I dont know if the rumors are true,
but at mine opinion he is a very good player same style as Hyppia!!!!

i`ve got a feeling this is the same greek fella who scored a diving header own goal, not totally uncommon but the ball was rolling along the ****** ground!!!
it was in the champions league and its one of the most bizarre things i`ve ever seen on a football field.
i`m not totally sure its the same fella.

Also Stu the red is a big fan of Dellas, I remember that he been impressed with Dellas when he was in EUR0 2004.

I am surprised that Dellas used to played for Sheffield Utd ages ago.

stan, mate, i saw phil babb in the usa world cup and went around telling everyone he was the new kaiser - franz beckenbaeur, i saw el hadji diouff in the world cup in france and went around telling everyone he was the new alfredo de stefano.
call me old cynical pants if you want to but the fact that he had a good euro 2004 doesn`t exactly convince me he`s the real deal.

Yeah, true you have made good point about it, but you never know how Dellas do well for Liverpool because he read football very well and he know what's he doing.

Ok, remember Patrik Berger who was brilliant in Euro 96 for Czech, then we signed him two months later, he was fantastic on his first season and sadly he has a lot of injuries problem with Liverpool but he was great servant for Liverpool. I was surprised that GH got rid of him to Portsmouth for free.

i think our greek friend just keeps throwing greek names into the hat for us to brainstorm over, to see our opinion.
i think the olympiacos groundsmans cat is the only carbon based lifeform remotely associated with football left in that country that rafa hasn`t been linked with.

yeah, i can't believe we got rid of patrick berger was one of my faourite liverpool players at one point.

I've seen dellas play a few times for roma and when i watched he wasn't playing too well but his performance at euro 2004 shows he is capable of playing very well.
