That was a very, very special strike.  I sense it will make Red's Key Moments thread.  Beautiful control with the chest and great instincts to turn and strike in one motion.  I loved that it nutmegged the defender on the way to the top corner...no chance for the keeper!  The Voronator's cult status well and truly cemented now!


It looks scorching hot there and both teams are conserving energy.  We're playing lots of long balls up to Crouch but, no complaints, as it worked a treat for the goal!

To-lose are pretty average, no real threat. Must be hot, as we are playing at walking pace so far. Great goal by Voronin, good touch, movement and strike. Am i the only one who gets a black box around the picture on Setanta?

A fairly forgettable first half . the Voronater smashes one in from outside the box but apart from that not much else to shout about. Maybe it's the heat but our game lacks pace and style. Hate to say this but the Scums style of play would have them at least 3-0 up by now.

Hoping we take the brakes off in the second half.
