What happened to our second goalkeeper from last season, Itandje? Was he sold or is he on loan or did someone just lock him up in an old dressing room and forgot to let him out?

was inexplicably not sold, I think we tried to sell him to Galatasary but somehow it fell through, I am sure he  has gotten the message by now and will leave for whatever we can sell him for in January.  As far as I know, we have not loaned him or sold him and he hasn't been making even the reserves bench so who knows what he is up to. I don't think he is injured, not sure, but would think he is training.

dont really care much about the competition but wouldnt want us going out and losing by a big margin..

have Torres, Benny as attacking options on the bench... Plessis, Darby, Spearing, Insua to fill the other slots... not a weak linup imo and would give us the chance to rest key player (Gerrard, Carra, Riera, Reina, Alonso..)

I wouldnt complain with that team, they should be able to hold their own.

Think its important to rest Carra.

Pennant and Mascherano are way more established than Plessis and Elzhar.. both have plenty more experience and ability... On his day Pennant's an excellent winger and can actually be very good on the ball and in terms of movement, passing, positioning...etc etc... mascherano is a very good player....nowhere as good as alonso and gerrard on the ball but def. miles ahead of Plessis in...ummm...well...EVERYTHING
