Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez will make a late decision on whether to start with Fernando Torres in Wednesday's Carling Cup clash at Tottenham.Torres is in need of match fitness after missing six games with a hamstring injury and is expected to feature in the fourth-round tie at White Hart Lane while Benitez rests several of his other stars, including Steven Gerrard.

Second-choice goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri, Sami Hyypia, Yossi Benayoun and Jermaine Pennant are expected to play.

Reds (from): Cavalieri, Arbeloa, Carragher, Hyypia, Dossena, Benayoun, Lucas, Alonso, Babel, Torres, Keane, Ngog, Pennant, Insua, Spearing, El Zhar, Plessis, Reina, Degen.

Guessed it wouldn't be "the kids" as some on here always like to think. I am a little surprised Agger was rested and not Carra

Spurs will be up for this one but i get feeling that might play into our hands.

I expect robbie to carry on his top form into this one and show spurs just why he has a 20 million price tag.

I wish I had more money around so I could see more of the games this year but if we win the league I am gonna take a week off to spend up in liverpool.  :D

Robbie's not playing tonight mate, he scored in our last game so he had no chance of getting a game tonight.  :D

I hope we give these lot a spanking tonight, their just as bad as the Bluenoses
thought they were gonna make a Dvd even though their languishing in obscurity.

I even had nick the p.rick from Candy Corner (Sweet Shop) stick a spread from the paper on the front of my shop window
before i opened up  :no .
