Torres injured

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ciggy » Wed Feb 06, 2008 11:11 pm

I absolutley hate internationals, Sammi's playin tonight, Babel gone off a bit injured, Torres hamstring strain, Yossi nearly got killed yesterday in a suicide bomb attack, our captain gets booed whilst making a pass for the goal whilst w@nker England fans sing Theres only one David Beckham. And the nights not over yet. Mascherano plays tommorrow morning in Argentina and Alonso has a ban for the Chelsea game.

I am so fu.ckin pi.ssed off right now.

On .tv....

Liverpool have been dealt a blow with the news that Fernando Torres was forced off in the first-half of Spain's friendly with France.

The Reds striker pulled up with what appeared to be a hamstring injury after just 23 minutes of his country's 1-0 win against Les Bleus and was soon replaced by Spain coach Luis Aragones when it became clear he could no longer continue.

Well Daws baby no one gave us a hope in 2005 but unfortunatly we didnt have this dirty big thunder storm hanging over our heads then, I am praying for rain and wind to make them storm clouds dissapear.

But it seems the bad weather will remain over Anfield until those from sunnier climates take over within the next few days.

Fingers crossed luv.

Now you all know why Rafa was displeased at these pointless internationals.

Yes I know, luv I believe every time we play the top 3 we will win I believe it so much, but they are 75 games unbeaten at home thats some record to be broken.

Who says we cant break it we have broken loads of records under Rafa.

I thought before Torres was injured another defeat but we just have to believe, we have to get our passion back for the team not that we lost it some people just sidelined our attention shall we say.

BTW Gillett still hasnt signed the re-financing deal  :)
All hope is not lost.

Yer no sometimes I feel like a kunt, I pray to me nan I say nan please, please, let us win, please, please, let Everton get beat, they are so horrible, and then I say to myself well you wernt praying to your nan or grandad last week when we won, but then I realise Karma and it does eventually privale.

I have a feeling that Kuyt will up his game against Chelsea with Torres being injured.

Sickening news, I thought we were up against it in this one even with Torres on the team sheet.  Save him until the Inter games I say, we don't want to fu.ck around with hamstrings, look at the state of Owen these days.

He might well be out of the Inter game depending on the severity of the strain.

A slight strain usually takes 1-2 weeks to recover fully.

It gets worst Lucas has suffered an ankle strain and Alosno is banned, Mascherano plays tommorrow in Argantina.
