i'm watching the spain match aswell (in which belgium are playing pretty bloody well at the mo) and the team doctor did say at half time that they don't really know how bad torres' injury is yet. he guessed it might mean about 10 days out but they need to do some tests. he also said that torres was very down in the dressing room.

:(

Whats that mean?

Gunner Fabregas gets Spanish chance after Torres injury scare

Published Date: 15 October 2008
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas was thrown into early World Cup action for Spain after striker Fernando Torres lasted less than 16 minutes of the World Cup qualifier against Belgium.
Spanish media are reporting it was a precautionary substitutioon as the Liverpool striker had felt a tweak in the muscle in the back of his left leg.

Liverpool will be hoping it is not serious problem as they face Wigan and Chelsea in the Premier League next week, as well as a Champions League trip to Torres' former club Atletico Madrid.

Torres started the match well enough, firing in a 35-yard shot inside the opening two minutes that Belgium goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen needed to push away, but he was replaced not long after with the European Champions trailing 1-0 in Brussels.

Goal machine Wesley Sonck puts the Belgians ahead but Andrés Luján Iniesta levelled for Spain before half-time.

Cráp, I didn't put on the telly.

We can bear with an Alonso injury, but we CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT TORRES RIGHT NOW

I'll stay alert.

First predictions of Torres' injury talk about ten days.

Ooops, you already wrote that  :D

Sorry Andy, all the blood went to my feet when I read your first line
