Cheyrou

You're right lad, 100%.

Its all on the pitch it matters and those last 19 years back me up and 90% of what I've said.

Also, a striker who scores 4 league goals in just over a season, yep. I'll go with that arguement all day. Its all on the pitch that matters, come the end of the season when we're in third place, I think you should stick around for the "I told you so" as I've had the misfortune of doing so many times over the years.

You're about as fickle as GBJH.

Oh right, so in what way am I fickle?

Well, in several ways.

You claim to have called almost every player right, when in fact you haven't e.g. Sissoko, Kuyt, Cheyrou, Cisse, Boumsong etc...

You used to defend Houllier to the hilt when he was coming under massive criticism from just about everyone and yet you insult those who defend Rafa and who use similar types of arguments to those you once used e.g. competing with the financial muscle of the Manc's and Chelsea.

Really? I never called Sissoko right?

I never called Kuyt right?

Think you'll find I did lad.

When I was 19 and inexperienced I did fall into the same trap as others yes, as I've grown up and continued to learn from people who know what they are talking about (you not being one of them) I learnt.

I rated Boumsong (wasn't the only one). I also rated Cheyrou (I still believe the lad lacked confidence in himself rather than ability).

I obviously wasn't the only one who rated Pennant either was I as our untouchable manager obviously had the same feeling I had.

I used to defend Houllier due to the way he was heavily critisised, I don't like the way Rafa is heavily praised for doing largely the same job.

LINK 1

Stu aka 'Good bob' stating Sissoko was one of Rafa's best signings.

Kromkamp an average signing alongside Agger, Zenden and Crouch

LINK 2

Stu the red later declaring he'd called Sissoko wrong, now again disputing that.

Good signings for us in the past according to you would've been:

Prutton  , Beattie, Dunn 'Class - end of'.

Stewart Downing was a player, in your own words, who would 'immensely improve our side', and yet not so long ago he wasn't good enough.

You'd rather us 'not sign sh!t like Riera and save the money', yet he is now looking like a 'superb' signing.

The list no doubt goes on...

All of course in light of your claim that you can spot a sh!t player in 5 min's

So are you suggesting in Rafa's first couple of season's Sissoko wasn't one of his best signings? My opinion of Sissoko never changed, the likes of Mick, Igor Zidane and other regulars will back that up.

David Dunn was ruined by injury and struggled for fitness. He is still a quality player with alot of ability.

Can't remember talking about Beattie or Prutton or in what context.

Stewart Downing would have improved our side in the past. I still don't see him as good enough and on Riera I made a judement without seeing the lad pay and wrongly assumed he'd be a typical Rafael Benitez signing.

All in I stand by what I say. I'm not right all the time, sometimes I get it wrong, at least I have the :censored: to back my opinion up and state what I see rather go along with Benitez and take 50 games to see the likes of Kuyt, Babel and other aren't good enough.

Why don't you now go and find out my opinions of Phillips, Keane, Carragher, Finnan, SISSOKO AND KUYT, Baros, Finnan, Hyypia (being past it), Baros and the likes.

Each of us could look like a real muppet if we make a selection of past posts that are not read in context, LFC2007.

So yes, you could tell to Stu to be a bit more respectful with other opinions, but selecting a couple of glorious moments isn't fair, because actually 98% of the posters wouldn't pass the test of time if we search enough.

In May 2006, you said:

"No to be fair, Sissy i fell for all the hype. NEVER again... IE Gonzalez... once bitten twice shy."

In June 2006, you said:

"Rafa Benitez era:

Best Signings: Xabi Alonso, Momo Sissoko, Pepe Reina, Robbie Fowler.

Average Signings: Zenden, Crouch, Kromkamp, Agger, Carson.

Worst Signings: Josemi, Nunez, Morientes.

Given that May comes before June in the Gregorian Calendar, I'd say your opinion changed quite rapidly on that one - over 9 days to be precise.

Why don't you now go and find out my opinions of Phillips, Keane, Carragher, Finnan, SISSOKO AND KUYT, Baros, Finnan, Hyypia (being past it), Baros and the likes.

Well, Kuyt's gone from 'as good as he is...', to being 'woeful', to being 'useful'.

No doubt there are more.

I've absolutely no doubt I've called plenty wrong (and with hindsight look like a muppet), as I'm sure others have. In this instance though, we're dealing with someone who claims to know more than the 'average joe's' who post on this forum, and who regularly insults those who give opinions on players.

It was time for a reality check.
