About 2-3 weeks ago there was a post about Finnan actually doing anything. Everybody rushed in defending the fu**er but now you see what 'Weaver' and I were talking about.

That RB is NOT, REPEAT N.O.T, the second best in the premiership. In fact he is closer to being the 2nd shi**est RB in the premiership.

Yesterday his postioning was so bad, SO BAD. He had no strength to deal with Duff (who is not the strongest of wingers). I'm not saying the rest of the team or defenders played well but he particularly played SH*T. His marking was abosultely rubbish and almost everytime he got lost when Duff turned on the ball. He couldn't even deal with the long balls.

All those idiots that were bragging on about Finnan being so great let me see you defend him now. He's absolutely rubbish and if anyone thinks otherwise then maybe you need to watch the conference division. Liverpool need worldclass or at least premiership class players - and Finnan is neither. PLEASE FOR GODS SAKE JUST PLAY JOSEMI FOR NOW OR THAT NEW GUY BARRAGAN. ANYONE BUT FINNAN - PLAY RAFA HIMSELF. I DON'T CARE PLAY DUDEK IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES TO TELL FINNAN TO FU*K OFF.

duff was relatively quiet yesterday

So finnan contributed to our defeat....? wow. i didn't notice that. So lets just replace finnan with josemi and everything would be fine....again......  :glare:

For all the Liverpool bashers, go and support Chelsea.

Finnan is a very good player. He didn't have a great game yesterday, but I don't think he was particularly bad either. Prior to yesterday he had about 2 bad games in 40.

Finnan is rubbish, Traore is rubbish, Crouch is rubbish, Reina is rubbish, Hyppia is rubbish etc etc etc. Listening to some people you can't really see much of a squad to support.

what game did you watch?
Hypia and Traore made those defensive errors.
Finnan in fact did some decent crosses into the box.

I've never said that Finnan was brilliant, SO I'm obviusly not a Pr1ck....

BUT YOU TALK UTTER SH!TE

If you want to have a go at some of our players, there where plenty who played worse than Finnan

BUT as a supporter, a fan.. maybe you should try and start supporting!!!  There are problems at our club at the moment, but we are only 6 games into the season. 

There are players who need a kick up the :censored:, BUT I don't think Steve Finnan is one of them.

Garcia?  Traore?  I think they have consistantly played worse than Finnan

Finnan wasn't bad yesterday, but the defence in general were poor, you can't blame him for the individual mistakes of Traore and Hyypia.

Finnan did actually keep Duff fairly quiet, apart from the goal where Duff made a great run down the inside left channel.  It was a great run rather than bad defending.

We don't need rid of Finnan, we need someone like him at left back.  Hopefully Warnock will mature into that sort of player, because Traore certainly won't.  I don't like singling players out for criticism, but Traore is just not good enough.  He gives 100%, you can't fault him for that, but as yesterday showed, he is a liability.
