Chelsea have won 10 of the last 12 games. How many of us Liverpool fans would take that kind of form for the last 9 games if we were given it now.

Barcelona are a team full of Internationals yet look at how they are doing this season. Real Madrid were a team full of superstar internation who failed for 3 years running until Capello came in.

A team also needs the right manager to be succesful. A manager who can gel players, somethign which Avram has done since he is arrived

What am i supposed to like chelsea now and see how grant is a great manager just becuase he got handed a very strong team which he hasnt added anything good while there .

He aint a good manager and he got handed a team with unlimited resources and wat has  he  done nothing (as of yet).I honestly dont see wat he has done at chelsea Mourinho was a much better manager !!!

You keep saying he has won 10 from last 12 games ... how about think of Benitez or are u too overwhelmed by Grant !! last 8 premier league games for Benitez won 6 drawn  1 lost 1 (obviously not included other competetions.

So with a team's grants got he should be winning them.

i can see where yari is coming from. grant does deserve some credit. yes he inherited it all, but to get them playing is still a job.

(ok, terry should have given away a penalty and been sent off so they are getting the rub of the green)

doesnt make u a cheatski fan to admit the man waqs put in an impossible position and knows he'll be gone in the summer but hes kept the team winning.

If you are prepared to give credit to Benitez for an inferior (yet still impressive run), how can you turn around and say that Avram doesnt deserve credit for an evenm better run.
Yes, we have had an awesome run recently whcih i hope coninues. However, it came of the back off a horrible month in Januray which cost us the title. Lets hope that our run coninues and turns out like the run of Chelsea and maybe we may still be in the title race.

The point is, I dont see us finishing above Chelsea. It is possible, but judging on their current form I dont see them slipping up and I don't see us winning all our games.

We can still hope.

You know what they say? Thats the sign of Champions. They scrap wins against teams like Sunderland even when they are not playing well. They destroyed Derby 6-1 on Wednesday, but they didnt play well vs Sunderland, yet still grinded out the victory. Man Utd scrapped a win past Derby on Saturday in similar fashion.


Thats where we must improve next season. We have to scrap out wins against teams like Wigan, Middlesborough, Aston Villa and West Ham instead of draws.

This is what Chelsea and Man Utd are able to do better than us and thats why they are challening for the title and we are not.

Those 4 draws you mention if victories would of been 12 points. That would put us in the mix with Arsenal and Man U coming up!!!

Ill be honest I couldnt give 2 fu.cks about Grant, Fergie, Wenger or any other manager other than ours. I couldnt give a fu.ck about anyone or anything other than Liverpool and our fortunes this season. Fu.ck giving credit to any other cu.nting manager. The way I see it we have managed to fight our way back into this title race somehow after we were ruled out completely. We are also in yet anothe Champions League Quarter Final with an excellent chance of going all the way. Fu.ck the other managers doesnt our manager deserve some credit?
