Yes he was bad last night,this i feel was partly down to lack of fitness,he looked sluggish,very very slow!
He had a very bad game.
Personally i feel that Riise as LFC progress has been showing that he is of lesser class than most of our would be first team players.He is a player that begs the question'where is his best position'
Yes he can play at left back,and yes he can play at L/M but ask yourself....where actually is his best position??
In defence he is mediocre ok yeah pretty sound,but his defensive qualities are pretty limited.
In L/m again hes ok...but as far as crosses go,just watch him,hes poor at crossing a ball.So for me hes not a winger!
Overall i think Riise is an Ok player but his technical ability is overlooked because simply hes 'football eye candy'
In this i mean he does what we like to see,runs at speed with the ball can beat a man.Aint afraid to bang a shot,can score the odd wonder goal!Apart from these few entertaining traits he's got very little to him!

People should remember that its fine to criticise something they like or love and sticking up for a player through just because they are a RED does not make them a bigger fan,it just highlights lack of knowledge!
Basically if LFC are to move onwards and upwards players of Riise's ability will need to be left behind!!
Good teams make do with 'yeah he can fill in there'players!
Great teams have a player or sometimes 2 that specialise a certain position...Risse is not a L/M or L/B !!
but i watch games on the internet 1st
