Headline: Cura de Humildad (*) (Humble healing, humble pie)

To the left: Batacazo tras 35 partidos sin perder y 15 victorias consecutivas (Big crash after 35 undefeated gaes and 15 victories in a row).

In black box: (*) We're the number one and it's better to lose this year than the next

In the yellow box: Penúltima pifia de Ramos. (Penultimate mistake of Ramos. We say this like you say "yet another mistake of Ramos)

AS

What strange is to lose! in the headline

Spain gave away two goals, and when we attacked we fell into the american's trap.

-------

Sport (Barcelona): Vaya palo!! which could be translated like, what a blow!!

-----

Mundo Deportivo: Sin final y sin record: Without the final and without the record. The record is that we were about to have more games undefeated than Brazil. Now we share with them that record.

one of the mainstream radio hosts, that predicted Spain 6-0 USA   while conceding that he was wrong, belittled supporters of the national team as " 5'7" guys named Nick or Zak whose parents listen to public radio and ate organic food, today is your day and I raise, wait, I mean lower my glass to you"

Then said that it was actually a negative that we won, because nothing changed, we are still just as bad, but now teams will take us more seriously. And continued to say that our team was not athletic enough, and that the team wont win anything until we have bigger, stronger, faster players, that normally play American sports.  Which, IMO, is like saying that we should send long drive competition winners to the Ryder Cup.

I don't know what worries me more, if the fact that that guy says that, or the fact that that guy has an audience and has a job because he usually says that kind of shít. ???

he was also hating on Rubio, saying that people only like him because he is a mystery. Umm How about playing professionally since the age of 14, and playing in the gold medal game of the Olympics? That makes him by far the most qualified and experienced player in the draft, AS WELL AS being one of the youngest and with the most potential.

I think, and hope that most people don't take him seriously and that he is only on the air to be controversial. But, idiots like Rush Limbaugh say equally appalling things about politics (worse actually) and his followers believe what he says.

just be glad you don't have daughters begging to take them to see Sky Blue FC vs St. Louis Athletica on the 28th (WPS).  I'm considering it because the St. Louis keeper is hot.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

WPS - Womens Profesional SOccer

"The word “Athletica,” while not found in the English dictionary, is derived from the adjective “athletic,” with the “a” denoting the newly-created noun as feminine, a common practice in many foreign languages... The word ‘Athletica’ denotes strength and power – characteristics of this organization that are epitomized by the crest, which also pays homage to St. Louis’ roots,” said Cooper. “Naming a professional sports franchise is no easy task, to say the least. With Athletica, we feel we have perfectly captured the essence of our team’s identity in a name and crest that transcends cultures."

Torres has been subbed off without injury in Spain's last game of this sh!thole cup :D

He has officially survived the tournament without harm

:)
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
