29) The memory of the 96 people died in Hillsborough must be always present. I learned more details about the truth thanks to this forum.

30) Liverpool are magic. Everton are tragic -- one of the first statements that nailed into my big head as soon as I started to know you guys (until them I only knew about Liverpool on tv and press, not fans)

Too bloody right, he showed what a joke the friendly last night and many of his goals were when he went and scored against third rate opposition - and I like Austria.

He's now scored 13 goals in 23 internationals and most of the teams he's scored against are league one or average Championship quality, the best side he scored against is Uruguay or Greece - both in friendlies. Although according to some HIS MERE PRESENCE was enough for us to beat Argentina!

I don't think he has a top speed, it's more one speed for all occaisions

I've failed miserably on both counts - sorry, you m'f in winker, son of a beech low life everton supporter

There, I've made up on one count  :;):

And you forgot that statistics are fantastic and mean everything when you agree with what they show, and mean absolutely nothing when you don't!

rooney has 14 goals is 40 internationals,

the 40 games are made up of:
11 friendlies    4 goals
7 WC qualifiers
4 WC finals games
12 EC qualifiers  4 goals
4 EC finals games  4 goals
2 FAST games   2 goals

yeah i can see why you think crouch is no good when he has a better international record than the "best striker in england"

So was Baros, Crouch makes a difference for both Liverpool and England.

stats are misleading... I agree with Owzat...

You can't be called a world class striker if you're not proven to be a big game performer no matter what your goal scoring record looks like... to say that crouch is world class because of his goal scoring record will be very funny indeed...

unless crouch scores in crucial games in world cup or the european cup he won't be talked about in the same level as owen and rooney...

Because Rooney and Owen have done so well recently, barring injuries and red cards in key games.

Peter Crouch scores and creates goals in every comp he plays in, he's scored for US agaist Utd and Chelsea, a perfect hatrick agaist Arsenal was our top scorer last season though under used, scored two great overhead kicks in a few days and though again underused when called upon has scored with both head and feet this season and has still managed to maintain a very impressive international record. So whats the problem? Is that just not enough for 7mil?
Dont judge a book by the cover, unless you cover just another, because blind exceptance is a sign,

It would appear thats the case. Peter Crouch doesnt look the part so he couldnt possiblbly fit in. His record speaks for itself. Heres one for the media lovers. Crouch's record is better than Owens and Rooneys for both club and country these past 2 seasons.

Crouch.

Bigoted people wont like him because he is tall, wierd looking and shouldnt work. But he does, I am not a massive fan of Crouch but I realise how good he is for club and country.

It comes down to :censored: and there ill informed views.
