The price for return ticket Istanbul - main airport in Germany such Frankfurt, Munchen, Dusseldorf is 250 Euro (Turkish Airlines). Frequent flights.

CGGY, this may be a daft idea, but if the prices are as bad as i've heard for flights, maybe not so…

If you can take a week off, go on holiday to Turkey. Most fans presumably are gonna have to take the tues, weds and thurs off for the final, so what's an extra 2 working days? It'll be far cheaper to book a week's package holiday to Turkey and just leave your hotel on the coast and head up to Istanbul for the final.

Turkey is a beautiful country, really stunning. I've been 5 or 6 times and am going back in June. The Turks are lovely people, really friendly and hospitable, although the more you can stay away from the lager-lout holiday towns the more they'll take to you.

Saying that, Bodrum and Kusadasi (which are pretty mainstream tourist towns) are probably the best for getting a bus up to Istanbul, which I've been told from people I've met in Turkey is a fabulous city. And if you're feeling cultural, you could stay there, see the final and visit Ephesus, one of the wonders of the world.

You could probably get that week for 400quid all in. Be nice and hot there too. Top country, great people.

Ade ive been to Turkey 6 times mate, been to kusadasi, Altincum, Alanya, Antalya, Marmaris and Bodrum only place I havent been is Istanbul, but hopefully i will be there next week :buttrock

taking my grand total to 7 times in Turkey, last year when I was there I got sunstroke and vowed never to go again, heavy night on the booze with raki, was goin out the next day and fainted with dehydration spent 3 days in the hospital :kungfu:

45 degrees in June it was.
I was gutted ruined me holiday, and said I would never go again but hey Im not going to see Turkey im going to party and hopefully see the mighty reds :buttrock
