THE OFFICIAL KENNY DALGLISH THREAD - Return of the King

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Joeblackisachimp » Sun Jan 09, 2011 12:29 am

the only thing i would say about Roy hodgson's behalf is that, he only got a short period of time and inherited a lot of benitez's squad.

one thing i am strictly against, is the LFc fans "hounding out" of the yanks and now Roy, with public threatening chants and banners on the kop, and comments from individuals on TV.

Airing our unhappiness in public all the time is no good. and embarrassing for the club

If all does not go well for Dalglish and for some reason things do not improve, are we goingto hound out Dalglish as well?
will the chants on the Kop change if results dont go our way I wonder....

People are assuming in here that everything will always go LFC's way.

The game has changed a lot, now ruled by money, we may not win the league for another 20 years not saying that will happen but ity could do, the way the game is changing.

He talks a wee bit of sense does wor Kenneth  :D

He certainly does, but the one of the key things for me was the part about giving the interview after just stepping off the plane to let people know what he thinks. Again, it raises the point of him knowing what we want as supporters, and we all hate being left in the dark !

I also like the veiled "if you dont perform, your out" bit regarding the pulling in the same direction.

Should be interesting for the rest of the season.

Kenny knows our youth squad quite well considering his previous job was to select them.. This could really help out the likes of Pacheco getting some game time.

lets not be hard on him when the results are not good, lets see what team he can build before caling for the sack this time.

lets be liverpool fans again that back a manager and the team.

Wouldnt it be a fairytale ending if Kenny was the one to restore the club to where it belongs, paving the way once more for players to understand that this is a great club, and when you put on that shirt, thats what matters.

I hope he achieves this, more than anything. That statement to Torres sums up Dalglish to perfection.

Cant sleep either sandra. god i hope this works out. Am made up. Hope we can finally wake from this nightmare someday soon and re-emerge full of dignity, tangible hope and most of all, our pride again.

Cant wait to see the buzz later on when he leads out the team. Every f.uckin one of our players should av their heads high and their chests pumped out with the red blood of LFC coursing through em firing them on. No need for any pre match team lifting....just wear the shirt and the managers 110% respect for the club and its people should be all them need.

Imagine it tho...old trafford an all. Bout time we deserved a break and there is no better place than that to rub it in and stick it up em. F.uck off fergie yer nothing next to this fella. Nothing.

WALK ON

I think we will win easily today.Like a horse that has been in a stall for six months and let out, the team is going to unleash energy and emotion that will carry them through. I would say Fergason will be worried as things are now different and he will know it. Furthermore I think since Kenny's late arrival there will not much time for video clips of players, tactics etc but probably "go out there and enjoy your football boys, and do it for Liverpool" and I think they will. This is a match we will NOT lose.

The boys, the manager and the fans will be buzzing!

Very VERY clever move by NESV, it doesnt matter what the season goes like from now on, no one will shout out KK and therefore keeps them out of the spotlight in every situation, the only thing they might be picked up on is that if KK is doing well at the end of the season, and they replace him with what is their notion of an ideal manager, the fans will probably turn on them again.

Well this time the fans have selected the manager and so I guess if it goes wrong the staff at Anfield can set up a forum and get stuck into us on the messageboards  Seriously though if the players do nothing under Dagger then they have no excuse anymore because that will be 3 managers that have failed to get a tune from this team and mass cull must begin.
