Kenny Dalglish offered his congratulations to son Paul, whose wife gave birth to twins on Tuesday evening.

He said: "I spoke to him last night. Of course he's happy - it's the first time he's scored two goals in one game!

Kennt brings the feel good factor with him, not only in his interviews but how he looks at the fans, he looks at them as if to say "its ok we know what we are doing, we are liverpool and will not let you down"

due to this even if things dont end up so great at the end of the season i hope to see him here for a very long time.
he is Liverpool fc and theres not many you can say that about as no man is bigger than the club, but one man can stand for what liverpool fc is.

So what went wrong? KK was going off his head at the end calling for some passion and commitment
Why didnt the players perform as well as they have been?
Has Gerrards return put a spanner in the works?

Gerrard came back from an injury, surely we will see better of him when he is fit and running.

We know whats the problem, its not KK because you can see he instilled belief and confidence into the squad, even players themselves came out and said that KK believed in them to be good players. This is all down to the quality of our squad, and many of us has been saying this, we are not a top 4 squad, top 6 at best and we will have this sort of inconsistency all season with the players at our disposal. This summer we must address our weakness and hopefully NESV are not shy to fork out a couple of quids to invest in our weak areas and get a couple of good players.

Many forum members put it down on the players for the awful performance and I hope you're all right on this. Because I am probably the only one who is starting to think whether KK is also responsible. KK has certainly improved the LFC's results and table position but not the attacking flair, ball possession, passing, hunger for goals. I really hope and pray that KK still has what it takes to win the PL and I really want to see him continue on beyond this season for us all to know whether he still has it after missing 10 yrs of management. If we are still playing rubbish football like we're doing now, only then it's time for change and I think KK would step down himself without being asked.

if he is to remain our manager he needs to make two very big decisions in the summer a massively bold one and that is that Carragher and Kuyt are no longer the first names on the team sheet but squad players.

How many of the current playing squad should remain? Meireless, Agger, Gerrard, Suarez, Andy Carroll,Johnson, Kelly, Lucas.

Reina will probably leave so we will need to buy a new goal keeper a long with a new team theres about ten players that we can let go of that are not good enough, whether the owners put their hands in their pockets is another question  :sniffle

Let's come back to 1 of our major problems and that is ball possession. We've been giving them away generously in almost every match and so discouraging to watch. Sometimes we are just happy to whack the ball as far away as possible to no man's land in the opponents' half and to me that is school boys' football not for professionals esp. for a club like Liverpool.

QUESTION NOW IS, WHY HAS LIVERPOOL DROPPED TO SUCH LOW LEVEL AND ALMOST SCHOOL BOYS STANDARD SOMETIMES? IS KENNY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS OR ARE THE PLAYERS ARE SO INCORRIGIBLE SUCH THAT EVEN KK'S GREAT MAN MANAGEMENT IS NOT HELPING?

I think posession is one thing that has improved greatly since Kenny came back.
Yesterday was poor but i think that was more down to the way West Ham harrassed us when we had the ball. The game was 100mph. A few of the players didnt look like they enjoyed it at all and need to realise that you will get games like that.
Meireles and Suarez in particular. They will need to realise that you dont get time on the ball in most premiership games.

How can kenny be responsible for the players that havent performed under the last three managers, infact lets go back to why we havent won the league for the past 20 years.

We had Martin Kelly & Raul off injured yesterday so it doesnt help that our season has been plagued with injuries. Danny Wilson selection was the only one questionable. I didnt think it was right to play him at this time knowing we are desperate to claim that 4th place with 10/11 games remaining. We should have started with the big Greek yesterday.

I'm just looking forward to this season ending so we can fully rebuild to mount something serious next season.

Why?

Too many players with low technical ability and creativity.

Why?

Those kinds of players cost a fortune.

Our 2 strikers cost more than rest of the team which tells us there are many holes to fill.

We need a new goalie probably, 2 new cb as Agger is never fit and the rest isn't good enough. A new left back as we have none. We need wingers desperatly and we have none with any flair, pace and creativity.

That's like 5-6 new starting players. Think it will happen?
No chance!

Besides Reina players like Cole, Kuyt, Maxi etc will give a very poor return cause they aren't very good and are on high wages.
Right now I'd be very surprised if we could get 10 million for those 3.
