I was listening to talksport before and Graeme Beacroft said he has heard Kenny won't be calling any former reds as his no 2 because he is having Steve Clark Jose Mourinho former no2 at Chelsea.

Heard this as well. Interesting move if true. He was seen as a very good number 2 at Cheaksi and got on very well with the players. Hopefully he can do a very good job for us. Not sure why he left Cheaski (slight differences with the owner ?..... (who cares anyway).

I think we will win easily today.Like a horse that has been in a stall for six months and let out, the team is going to unleash energy and emotion that will carry them through. I would say Fergason will be worried as things are now different and he will know it. Furthermore I think since Kenny's late arrival there will not much time for video clips of players, tactics etc but probably "go out there and enjoy your football boys, and do it for Liverpool" and I think they will. This is a match we will NOT lose.

The boys, the manager and the fans will be buzzing!

Unless of course they get a dodgy penalty in the second minute and a few minutes after that they send one of our best player off.

Hope this is true, hes a brilliant no.2 as much as i dislike his fomer club. Hes also got alot more years in him them most assistants knocking about. If this is true NESV are doing a brilliant job in securing some of the best young talent around not just on the pitch (fingers crossed) but behind the scenes aswell. Exactly what we need 2 start a new dawn.

Steve Clark!? Didn't see that coming. He certainly got a lot of praise and credit for his work behind the scenes at Chelsea. In may ways it would be more refreshing than going for the obvious choice of someone like a Rush, Aldridge, Thommo or keeping on Sammy Lee.

So its confirmed about Clark? Brilliant. Not sure ive said this in aonther thread but as a younger fan who missed Dalglishs playing and managing days the first time around im so glad that i can finally feel part of his legend 2. From the interviews ive seen so far hes impressed me. Also it was good 2 see him bring Torres off show him hes not about with anyone no matter who they are. Hopefully with the team looking like it will play more attacking football and if Stevie can stay on he pitch we can see the old Nando again.
