The thing is though, we can't keep on bringing up the stats every time we drop points.

Rafa should have made changes at half time, from listening to the game Pennant had loads of possession and did nothing with it.

Shocking result, so much possesion yet so many wasted cross's, shots and passes.

Rafa needs to determine some way of breaking down teams defences when they are all too happy to defend, and no sticking crouch in the box and throwing every ball at him is not the answer.

Im not 100% sure that playing all 3 strikers is working, I havent been to impressed with it the few times we have played it it seems that Craig ends up out on the wing everytime, Dirk hovers around the pitch and Crouchie sits in the box waiting for something to happen.

I heard that Pennant and Crouch were poor. Especially that chance that Crouch had near the end?

That Brian Marwood w@nker got on my t1ts he might aswell have he's stuck up Evertons Ar$e, why do so much chances come to crouch and only 1 in 10 actually hit the back of the net, Bellamy works hard but after the offside goal he seemed to disapear into the shadows, we definately need somebody who can unlock defences with abit of magic because teams that are strong at the back we just can't seem to unlock.

Over all not a bad display could have been worse but we have some things we need to address such like Riise and his lack of possitional sense and a ball carrying magician to add that bit extra if we are to ever win this league.

It was an ok game but nothing like we've seen of derbies in the past. The quality of the game couldn't hold a candle to the Anfield Derby last season.

How many crunching tackles did Gerrard make today? How many times did we hear the crowd booing and spouting bile everytime Everton got near our goal?

Sure it was a good atmosphere but nothing like we heard in the last 2 years.

We should have had Kuyt and Bellamy up front with a wide player or anyone decent on the left supporting them. Kuyt as always worked his socks off and on so many occassions dropped deep or even went wide on the left and tried to thread the ball to Bellamy or Crouch.

Crouch was poor today.

crouch was extremely poor today, as was riise and pennant.

everton played a perculiar formation... 9-0-1

...kuyt and alonso also had bad games but u could sense these 2 could make something happen.
we've only won it 5 times

I was hoping Pennant might have kicked on after his goal against Chelsea, but if anything he seems to have taken a step back. Just have to pray now that other results go our way today.
