THE MIGHTY LIVERPOOL VS CHELSEA - LET'S TAKE THESE MERCENARIES!!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Remember summer when some of you thought that with the massive spending of Chelsea buying Ballack and Shevshenko they would be even stronger?

Look, Look

I said it then and I say it now, Real Madrid tried to do a stars team with money, and they failed. Chelsea has made the same mistake, and failed. Football is much greater than money.

Can't buy me love

I'll buy you a diamond ring my friend if it makes you feel alright
I'll get you anything my friend if it makes you feel alright
'Cause I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love

I'll give you all I got to give if you say you love me too
I may not have a lot to give but what I got I'll give to you
I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love

Can't buy me love, everybody tells me so
Can't buy me love, no no no, no

Say you don't need no diamond ring and I'll be satisfied
Tell me that you want the kind of thing that money just can't buy

Pennant wasn't wearing white tape around his ankles today, and scored.

So it's obvious, white tape prevents goalscoring.

Scientifically proven.

I was so pleased i managed to watch this game on live stream. The goals were great, Drogba's freekick had me in stitches, the bye bye Mourinho chants had me laughing and poor old Shevchenco's entrance just made the kop sing '5 times' even louder. A perfect day. Lets just hope Arsenal can beat Man U tomorrow and make it a perfect weekend.

stupid comment, drogba actually was ok today, the knee was an accident, the only slight blemish was his arm high when he clattered riise

Oh, yes, he got an elbow on Riise head as well. But I still think his knee was a cheap shot and not an accident. If you play football, when you try to head a ball, your knee would never came up that high. ANyway, just glad we won and the defense did a hell of a job on Drogba.

what do you mean high, alonso was crouched down to head the ball.

listen i dislike drogba more than most, but lets criticise the guy for his bad actions and not accidents, also notice he asked for play to be stopped immediately so alonso could get treatment.

i am 100% certain that this was an accident, this is why no other players complained or are you suggesting they have never played football     :no

Observations, from Manhattan:

1- The cool thing about Pennant's strike is that it flew right over Ashley "55K Ain't Enuff Innit" Cole's head.

2- Mourinho has an odd shaped head.

3- Why don't Chelsea have a blue top to their socks where three white Adidas stripes can be displayed, thus matching their shirts and shorts?

4- Dirk Kuyt looks oddly like Johnny from the Cobra Kai.

5- Why does Shaun Wright Phillips wear a kit that's eight sizes too big for him? Can't they produce a special kit for midgets?

6- Why do they use a purple and yellow ball? Is there something wrong with the classic "white ball with black panels" design?

7- Why does the lion on the Chelsea badge have it's head the wrong way round? Is that one of those Chernobyl lion species?

8- Why hasn't Peter Crouch been working on developing his muscle mass?

9- Is Peter Crouch still dating that slag?

10- If not, does anyone have her number?
