The power of Riise shot caused his leg to bend back, then all his weight which was already coming forward pushed is ankle down, is leg kind of folded under his body weight.

Riise's free kick appeared to twist Smith's left leg and then he went down on it. Alomost certainly fractured by the look of it.

Good result.  Crouch did quite well, as did Momo and Didi.  Kewell also looked in form.  Any of the above can be Man of the match for me.

i refused to look every time they showed the replay,i don't like to see anyone suffer bad like that even a scum player
