Was'nt the French international Cisse also the Le Championat leading goal scorer when Chelsea signed an also ran for £24 million? You believe Owen to be world class? I wonder who he has begged to join recently? Come now Tommo, take your pills and go back to your room.

I believe owen to be world class? Putting words into my mouth again.

Have another look before swallowing that pill, there appears to be a '?' see it ?.....yeah thats the fella. That means it is not a statement, of which, therefore, cannot be placed in your mouth. How come your mother did'nt drag you along to the metro to do the shopping? does she know your on the computer?   :suspect:

The Metro. Fantastic. The biggest shopping centre in Europe, owned by the owner of our football club. We MUST be skint ;)

Its owned by the Provincial actually.  ???

you never know Alan Shearer says he has spent a fortune (at least a fiver) ringing Owen over the wekend to convince him

imagine the conversation:

Alan: come on mike, you have to join us, you'll do REALLY well!

Mike: Really?  What have you won since you been there?

Alan: Err...nothing.

Mike: Ok, but you're building for the future, where are you in the league? and you're in Europe, right?

Alan: 19th and we lost in the Inter toto cup

Mike: *click*

Alan: Hello?  Mike?

Rafa: Hiya Mike, we want you here.

Mike: I want first team football.

Rafa: but we have Morientes, Crouch and Cisse so you can't be garaunteed a place

Mike: Ok, I'll leave Real for first team football and come to play for you despite you signing two strikers in the last two windows, therefore not gauranteeing me first team football. That would be clever wouldn't it.

Rafa: Ok I'll phone Real Madrid

-----

Rafa: hello Real, we know Newcastle will give you 17 million so we are going to show our ambition with a bid of, £8 million. Is that ok?

Real: F*ck off.

Alan to Mike: You've got little choice bonnie lad ;)

We never signer world class players? since when? we have signed the below:

Kenny Dalglish
Ian Rush
Greame Souness
Roger Hunt
Alan Hansen
John Barnes
Kevin Keegan
Etc.

You ask any footballer about any of those players and they are all know and respected, how many Newcastle players can you say that about apart from Alan Sheerer? oh I forgot Titus Bramble :bowdown

Tomm0.........Newcaslte don't have 17 million to spend.  Remember last year with Rooney?  Fat Freddy out an offer in as some perverse pr stunt.....when it was accepted he never even attempted to talk to the player.  Strange you cannot afford 11 million for Anelka yet you can afford 17 million for Owen?

Owen would rather pull splinters out of his a*se than sign for you lot  :D
