Well...i want MO to come back to Liverpool...but not at a price of Cisse

It wont be at the price of Cisse though, baros knew he would be out on his ear even before the CL final and this Owen saga, reading between the lines Rafa doesnt seem to have Cisse in his plans MO or no MO, it just seems that way, I dont know why though I dont know how Rafa ticks TBH.

you`d need the foresight of the oracle at delphi to know whats going on , the situation has descended into a cycle of claim - counterclaim and speculation.
the echo earlier in the week had hinted it was owens agent`s demanding parity with gerrard in terms of wages that was holding up any possible deal then some veiled reference to the tax michael would have to pay cause he hadnt been out of the country long enough for tax exemption. then ian rush says liverpool might not be able to afford him as newcastle are prepared to break the bank to sign him. that bid by newcastle might alert real madrid to the fact that they shouldnt rush any deal to get rid of owen because they might be onto a right little earner especially if a few other big clubs realise they might need a goalscorer and a bidding war starts.
if rafa does want to sign owen then he wants to seriously take up poker as a profession because eveytime at look at his face he looks to me like a man not interested at all in signing owen.
then we sell baros and now there is talk of selling cisse!

Although i wont be entirely happy about it id rather choose Owen over Cisse for the simple reason hes proven already at Liverpool. I think Rafas concern is that if Owen comes hes obviously gonna be a starter along side either Morientes or Crouch. (Both of which as you know were his aqquisitions) Which leaves Cisse as a backup for 3 strikers basically? Sinimas ok for that role becasue he hasnt quite brkoen in yet as a regular. It will only be a matter of time before Cisse would start to moan about first team football. So as bad as it may sound it would be better for Cisse and Liverpool if, should Michael Owen return, he be sold now whilst people are interested in him.

Its a strange predicament were in but its one im sure Rafa and R Parry will agree on how to best tackle and judging by Parrys comments earlier if say that theres a strong chance Cisse wil be on his way.

Hes coming home guys

Albert Luque will arrive at Newcastle United on Friday for a medical, after a fee in the region of £10 million was agreed with Deportivo La Coruna.

Agent Francis Martin exclusively told skysports.com that an accord had been reached over the player and that he would seal a move to The Premiership this week.

"Tomorrow (Friday) morning Newcastle will send a plane for Luque and his father," said Martin.

"We are confident that the player will pass the medical and sign a contract."

Luque himself expressed his delight at the chance of playing in England, saying: "I am happy that a deal has been done.

"The Premiership is an excellent league.

"It is up to the coach but I am prepared to play on Sunday against Manchester United.

"To be in the team next to [Alan] Shearer would be a huge personal satisfaction to me."

Luque is believed to have secured a five-year deal with The Magpies.
