well folks, 2005 is nearly over and i have to say that it has absolutely flown by. it's been a magnificent year for liverpool fc when you consider where we were at the start of the year, but once again, with regards to this forum there's been highs, lows, laughs, disputes, hunks, flange and even butano (whatever the hell that is).

we've had several new members join this year who are now truly established members of the forum. on the other hand we've seen others disappear somewhat.

so once again, to mark the end of the year, please vote for your personal winner in the following categories.

1) normally it would go to bigmick - erudite, knowledgeable and witty. but my vote goes to sabre - a breath of fresh air.
2) sooo difficult but the new occupations thread is making me cry laughing on a regular basis
3) which one of judge's to choose is difficult but i have to go for his luis garcia effort

5) he was a nutter of the highest order but Thomas88's 'schumichachel - how do you spell that?' was gold
6) Roberts v AB is always great fun

I'd like to add the worst quote of the year by a commentator. Commentating a game of Rugby League on mother's day, the scoreline was very onsided. Phil Gould former Sydney Roosters and New South Wales coach during the game said that this game would be known as the "Mothers Day Massacre", highly inappropriate as a there was rioting in a Tasmanian jail and the violence in Iraq had gotten quite bad. Probably not the most appropriate comment.

This pisses me off. Because I think a forum is great when you add different posters, so we are all important. But I'll pick bigmick. Not because his knowledge and good english, but because the team was not well, still mantained his composure and spoke sense, and that's difficult when you have a strong love for Liverpool. As I say I hate to pick one

Lando. I like jokers, but when they also provide some sense in football posting, even better. He makes insulting an art. I sometimes can't stop laughing. His insults are so good, they are good translated to Spanish too.

Liverpoolanytime vs Racism.

7) Worst rumour of the year

Alonso to Villa

8) Moderator of the year

None. I think it's the best thing I can say of them A good mod is like a agood ref, if he isn't noticed or have too much protagonism, even better. I think they've performed well.

1.Forum member of the year any from Big Mick, John Craig (both always speak common sense) CGGY most passionate red. Drummerphil (obviously a very tough year, but always posts good stuff and saw off chelseaforever)
2. Best thread, the rumour thread, even the bad ones are interesting.
3. So mant to choose from, but the ones directly started about rumours, when there is a pinned thread probably.
4. Lando and Leon, cant split the 2, sometimes OTT, but virtually always funny.
5. Definately Andy Grays game well and truly over shout   
6. Drummerphil with ChelseaForever...he tore in to him at every oppurtunity, brilliant.
7. Worst rumour, although the alonso one was bad, welsh wizzards took the P@ss.
8. Moderator of the year....tbh they all have a thankless task and deserve a load of credit.

This forum makes my day in work so much more bearable, and thanks to everyone who contributes, even the dole dossing wasters
