The boot isnt on the other foot weve won all but the cup winners cup and arsenal .... well....havent !
Arsenal kids whipped our kids in the league cup and everyone jumped on the bandwagon saying arsenal are great, arsenals future is rosy and yet come the end of the season they barely make 4th place in the league, and we were poo this year !

Not nice to lose a major final but unlike you lot, weve been here before and recovered.

Anyway I am really disappointed but you have to admit Milan deserved to win because they took their chances and made fewer mistakes. There's always next time anyway. I don't regret waking up and watching this match even though it was from 2 to 5 am on a school day where I have to reach school by 7am. I feel it was worth it.

Cheer up everyone...we fought right to the end. :)

I guess ur somewhere in the south east asia yea?

Yeah I am. Singapore  :)

Can't stand it really..the whole of this region (South East Asia) is basically Red Devils zone. Until now...I haven't really found many Liverpool fans among my schoolmates.

hey, i am a singaporean too.. i have tons of liverpool supporters as friends though., i don't believe south east asia is full of red devils fans though. LIVERPOOL FTW!

Greetings from Denmark.

Liverpool were the better side tonight - just a tad unlucky :)

I'm devastated about tonight, we deserved more, the lads gave it everything, we just couldn't conjure up enough at times.

I just think back to that first half and knowing that feeling of - we've gotta capitalise on all of this pressure soon, they have bugger all possession, one lucky free kick and it tips the game completely.

Such is football at times.

Can't fault the lads for effort,

YNWA.

Really? OMG you should come and see my schoolmates. All RED DEVILS!!! I really can't find many Liverpool supporters at all. The person I talkabout football the most with is probably my close friend who is a Red Devil or my uncle, a Chelsea fan. Speaks a lot about the lack of Liverpool fans among the young people.

Those young punks are shallow, either go for handsome lads in Man U and the crazy spending hype by Chelski, they know nothing about football and their cultures..pity them

Leper Messiah wrote:Its not normally my thing to go onto the forums of other clubs, but I thought Id share my thoughts on the CL Final with you.

Liverpool were the better team tonight, a great effort that the club can be proud of, just as I was proud of our losing effort last year.

As an Arsenal fan, two years ago when Liverpool were in the final, I was happy to support them and give them my full backing.  English team in the final and all that.  I was just as captivated and enthralled by the great comeback as anyone else.

Then last year, we reached the final.  I thought that since Liverpool had enjoyed broad support the year before with the understandable exception of some Everton fans and United in general, Arsenal would also recieve wide backing.

As you'll recall, not so.  I was rather taken aback by several Liverpool fans, some that I knew, and others that Id seen talking on forums and the like, getting strongly behind Barcelona.

I couldnt understand this at the time.  After all theres no real emnity between Arsenal and Liverpool.  And to be fair, it wasnt just Liverpool.  Lots of English fans with very little reason to have anything against Arsenal went to rediculous lengths.  Barcelona shirts sold by the barrel load.

So fast forward to this year.  I dont mind telling you that I was right behind Milan in this final, and I was delighted to see them win.  Indeed, Liverpool were the better team, but after last years experience that hardly matters to me.  I won't be backing any English teams in Europe in the future, but I'm glad Liverpool were the first ones I got to root against in a final since they are the apex of the fans that had no reason to show such disrespect last year, yet they still did.

Bottom line, thank you for your defeat tonight, I really enjoyed it.

Why so bitter?

I know plenty of Liverpool fans who were getting behind Arsenal last year, if you've got little else but to be so begrudging then bugger off.

It's sad, you've got little better to do than come and try and pis.s us off.

I'm gutted about tonight but I'm so proud of my team.

We were the better team in the first half and it was harsh on us to concede the first when we did. We played much much better than we did in 2005, it just shows how far we've come.

Can't fault the effort of anyone but how many games have we bossed this season and not been able to put teams away? We desperatley need a striker that can be clinical and we need better players to support them i.e. wingers.

I thought Mascherano was brilliant tonight.

I can't criticize any of the players tonight. I'm disappointed but I feel so proud.

credit where it's due to Maldini, he's a quality player and person. Well done AC Milan.

Well at least we got to the Final

As they say "You have got to be in it to win it"

Excellent achievement to get there in the first place.
Maybe could have won it with a little more luck but thats football.

I think with a few more summer signings in the right positions then we will be back there next season and also be challenging for the title.

I still believe we are heading in the right direction with Rafa, New owners and new stadium.

I also feel it would be right of me to praise the signing of Mascherano. I though he was outstanding tonight and for the time he was on the pitch he made Kaka look very ordinary
