Knowsley North and Sefton East MP George Howarth is being quoted on Merseyside as saying: 'I deeply regret this decision in a time of significant economic challenge to the whole of Merseyside during a recession.'"

The LCC would build it and we both pay the rent.

This is worst news than getting knocked out the CL them yank b@stards will be delighted.

How on earth do they expect to share if they cannot even afford half the money? Not that I want to share but just saying like.

Unfortunately they won't get relegated, they got close to it for quite a few years and got lucky, now there's simply far too much dross that is worse that it is more likely someone on here will win the lottery. Wolves, pompey and Hull are just three sides that make it almost impossible to hope or believe it would happen. Wolves and pompey have four wins between them, one each home and away. Hull might just about survive as they've won as many at home as Wolves and pompey combined, but then there's the likes of Wigan, Wet Sham, Bolton and brum who all have better relegation credentials.

Here's to hoping they can pull relegation out of the bag where previously they've somehow survived by the skins of their teeth. We can only do our bit and beat them this weekend, give the teams around and below them every chance of catching up.

Well this World Cup bid is today and everything will lay in the outcome of this, what arguments are for and against. Its a bit feckin stupid putting a bid in when neither of us have a stadium built, but LCC will be pushing this all the way most of the politians are blues.  :(

Surely its not up to LCC? They wouldn't have the final say would they, the clubs would. I know Everton are desperate, but we're not that desperate surely?
