The battle of old trafford - It's a must win

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I think the fact that people expect us to win matches is putting an unwanted complacency on our lads shoulders. With the rotation system, that, and a batch of players that simply have not gelled, we need a bloody miracle to win the league. very poor and frustrating second half. I hope we finally click and we do it quick.

"The Battle of old Trafford"

If we look at this in historical terms, United were the Germans and we were the French.  Pretty much laying down and taking it up the shitter.

We need to find our best starting 11 and play it, and then play it some more.

Chelsea and Man U can have a tinker because they're winning games week in, week out. We're not. Get the winning habit first and then p*ss about with the team, for f*ck's sake.

It will be the usual stock reply due to his lack of English.

Benitez gives the same interview over and over as he only knows those words.

I think someone transplanted Houlliers brain with Rafas. Lyon playing open attacking football and Liverpool playing defensive.

We had a left winger on the right and a centre midfielder on the left. Aside from this a complete lack of ambition overall.

Its as well Utd didnt play as they can otherwise it could have been anything. Maybe they felt sorry for us. We never laid a glove on them.

The fact is that we have no chance of making a go for the Premiership under Benitez. His tactics worked in Spain but they are not working here. He needs a complete rethink of his strategy or it will not improve. Unfortunately managers dont change. You either accept their way or get a new one.

Gonzales looked positive taking people on but he replaced him. God only knows why. Garcia somehow stayed on.

Absolutely hopeless today. We are steadily going backwards again.
