The Arsenal conundrum

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

ITs simple, hypothetically we will win one, lose one and draw one of the three back to back (to back) games, which one do you want to win, which do you want to draw and which one do you want to lose from:

Champions League @ The Emirates 2nd April

League game @ The Emirates 5th April

Champions League @ Anfield 8th April

I think it has to be the following...

Champions League @ The Emirates 2nd April (Draw)

League game @ The Emirates 5th April (Lose)

Champions League @ Anfield 8th April (Win)

a lot depends on the draws of the respective games. i mean, we could happily lose 1-0 in the CL game at their place and then win by 2 or more in the anfield leg - job done. then we get a point in the league game and don't lose two much ground in the league. that would probably be my choice. however, if we can't talk about scores then it would have to go like this:
CL @ emirates - draw
League game - lose
CL @ anfield - win

that guarantees us progression in the CL and are 3 points we can't bank on in the league anyway. a draw would be a good result for us there so its realistically only one point lost.

if I HAD to pick I would win away in the CL in a high scoring game, draw in the league and loose at home in a low scoring game

You 2 guys are throwing away a point in the league. We can progress with a win and a loss

I'd rather Arsenal win the league than the scum, so:

CL Emirates - draw.

League - lose.

CL Anfield - Win.

I'd gift them 3 points if it meant stopping thta shower of sh*te wining the Prem.

I would take a 1-0 loss at the Emirates in the Champions League. A draw at the Emirates and a win in the 2nd leg at Anfield, 2-0 would be very nice.

Obviously would have preferred three wins  :D
I think we will beat Everton and am confident for the fourth spot maybe better

If we are to progress in the CL I think we have to get a result in the emirates or even the precious away goal and we are capable of that, if so then we can contain them at home

like i said, joe, it all depends on the scores. going with the 'draw, lose, win' sequence guarantees us progression regardless of goals. point taken though (no pun intended...  :D )

Much depends on our two games prior to these matches.  Should we draw/beat the Mancs and beat Everton, I'd be satisfied with a W-L-D against Arsenal.

If we stumble against the Mancs and Everton, however, I'd follow Joe's thinking: L(1-0), D, W(2-0).

You would prefer to win at the Emirates?

Much prefer to lose thier so there scummy fans think that they have won the game. Then they will hit a rollercoaster of 45,000 fans.

Anyone collected their tickets for the Arsenal game yet?

I 'd prefer to win all 3 , but i'd take just getting through to the semi's of the cl ,with a draw in the league . Don't care how we get there as long as we do . :)
