Makes you wonder if this means Masch will not be at Anfield next season, there was a lot of talk about Tevez joining us to team up with Masch.

nope... would have been a good option down the left flank but im sure we can find better or someone more suited to playing the left winger role... someone like Silva or Robben would be ideal... a natural winger ...
Still dont understand why you dont think Silva would make it in the prem mick ?!

I don't think too many people find Chelski objectionable, that seems to have been accepted into the football vernacular these days, a little like the "Gooners" or the "Yids".

I might be wrong obviously, but I think that's where Rushie is coming from on this one.

Oh, sorry for not being politically correct...  ???

Was all that abuse needed for that remark?

Back to topic. If he doesn't wanna come we don't want him, simple as that. We want players who wants to wear the shirt and his price tag was a bit steep so it won't be the end of the world.

But if he goes to city I question the reason he wouldn't want to come to us as city are pretty high up the list of manure's rivals.
Then it sounds more like money reasons to me.

Man Utd announce Tevez departure

Tevez will not be playing at Old Trafford in a United shirt again
Manchester United have confirmed that Carlos Tevez is leaving the club.

United were willing to pay the £25.5m to turn the striker's two-year loan move into a permanent five-year deal but Tevez has decided to move on.

"Disappointingly, his advisors informed the club that he does not wish to continue playing for Manchester United," read a United statement.

"The club thanks Carlos for his services over the last two seasons and wishes him good luck for the future."

606: DEBATE
What do you make of Tevez's depature?
Tevez became a fans favourite duruing his time at the Old Trafford club and helped the side win the last two Premier League titles as well as the 2008 Champions League trophy.

But he has joined Cristiano Ronaldo in exiting the club, with his final appearance being as a substitute in United's loss to Barcelona in the 2009 Champions League final.

United said they were willing to make Tevez "one of its highest paid players" but were told by the Argentine's advisors, who own the player's economic rights, that he would not be accepting the offer of their deal.

Manchester City are now favourites to sign him but he has also been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool.

More to follow.
