Maybe we should bid £25m for Rooney, well if whiskeynose is going to bid pittance for our players then we should give him a taste of it too (his own medicine, not whiskey as he is all familiar with that taste)

Flood ManUre with well publicised offers for Rooney, Ferdinando and whoever else they have at between 5 and 10 million....... haha !

Why not? Wind fergie up something chronic. In fact get some IT people to create phoney Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan etc e-mail accounts and bombard the mancs with phoney offers for their best players. Let the mancs pick the bones out of that little lot
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Tevez is FAR superior to Saviola, Bav... I wont be the least excited if we get him, its like buying another Michael Owen. I´m not sure either if he´d cope with the rigours of the premier league.

By the way if you have teh Road to Istanbul dvd from 2005, Saviola features in the Monaco game. Fell over a blade of grass if I remember correctly....

Wouldn't be too pleased with Saviola if Rafa plans on him featuring regularly. Don't see him coping here. Would MUCH rather have Tevez
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Yeah I am not disputing Tevez' quality but I really think our chances of getting him as slim, very slim.

It's all a ploy to upset that Whiskey-swilling b*stard and keep the thieving Manc scum away from our targets.

I´d rather win the league and worry about tradition later.

oh but what a dilemma if Rafa does sign him, do you continue your love fest and ditch your own "lofty" standards or dare to criticise your god Rafa??

Ince?

I would take Tevez and Heinze even being ex Man Utd

Common sense say's we should sign him , and rafa is going to go with that. He's single minded about what he thinks is right for the club . If he thinks signing tevez is right well that's what he'll do . I 've got no arguements with that , just can't help feeling uncomfortable about it. I'm sure if or when we do sign him and he starts banging in the goals or sets players up for goals i'll feel better (i sound like a bad glory hunter saying that but there you go ).

Personally i was totally against the signing of ince and the attempted signing of Heinze for the same reasons. Maybe i've mellowed in me old age or i've just seen the light . Just doesn't sit right in me gut if you know what i mean.

Like it or love Tevez is a fans favorite with the United fans and although he was never signed by United as there own I can still see why a lot of Liverpool fans would have a problem with him coming here.

I personally dont think it will happen but if it does then it will be for the good of the team and if it means we win the race to number 19 next year then all will be forgotten very quickly

I too was against signing Ince and have the reservations regarding Tevez but we are in a position where the end justifies the means

We havent got the cash anyway
