I'd consider playing Baros instead of Cisse but leave Garcia where he is for now. He played really well at Anfield a fortnight ago so why change it ?

Kewell is obviously out of form and you wonder how long the manager will keep selecting him.

Um, daglish, Kewell's out injured so he the answer to the question 'how long will the manager keep selecting him?' is he's stopping now :D

Stu, you said that playing players out of position will NEVER get the best out of them but what about John Charles?  One of the best centre-forwards there ever was and yet he began his proffesional career (and his senior international career!) as a centre-half.  If playing someone in a different position isn't, never was and never will be a good idea then explain how he could go from a good player to a brilliant player by being played out of position?

I'm not suggesting that all players are like that but what about that example?

So far Cisse & Baros don't gel, not sure if they ever will. Garcia has performed well playing behind the main striker thus far, so I say stick with him there. This might be the game where we can let Cisse have a good go at opposition and more field time to get used to Premiership defences. Rafa is keen to play only 1 striker up front, and the one to start must be Cisse, with Baros to come in 2/3 into the game. Finnan has done OK playing right midfield considering that is not his natural position, though when Nunez is back, he will have to make way. Kewell...dissapointing so far, and should do better!

Benitez will prefer a team formattion 4-3-2-1 attacking role. but who's going to replace Gerrard after he's been sidelined by the injury woe? erm....i think benitez should signal green light to biscan and let him partner with xabi alongside midfield. let's see how will we perform without captain stevie? Biscan should get his shirt off and he will be the hero who save us... :D

I think Finnan has done well to be selected. Give the lad a chance... I think Rafa will play withe the same 4-4-1-1 and Garcia should be left just behind the striker.
