Played a lot of Football Manager I see. Regardless of whether Alonso is fit or not, why in the world would you play a central-defender in a central-midfield position? Are you trying to emulate Houllier

He's a centerback and can play as a left-back but to play him ahead of Sissoko, who has been one of our best players this season is quite mind boggling.

What exactly happened to common sense?

It's a typo. You'll see below that I say ''why play a CB ahead of a CM who has been one of our better players all year".

Actually he has put Sissoko in the line up, didn't notice that the first time however he's still playing Agger[cb] ahead of a central-midfielder[Hamann]. Why, I really don't know.

Because Agger has played in CM once for Liverpool before, and I think he may do well there
