What the bloody hell does tailspin and pigstickers mean anyway  :D
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

according to urban dictionary a pig sticker is 'a great guy who sacrafices his reputation by going for the ugliest girl at a party so his friends get the better picks'

That might be misleading tho  :D

it's a kind of knife isn't it? like a switchblade?

Bob, I'd like to be squeaky clean however the anti's were so voracious in their critical mantra of Rafa that with his replacement failing to create the anticipated immediate return to the glory days and we languish in 19th place... I find it rather ironic.

Yes we do need to be balanced and dignified, but even at Rorkes' Drift when surrounded by 5,000 Zulu the few loyal defenders - who by chance were also dressed in red - found cause to have a laugh at their plight and poke the odd Zulu in the eye before he fell on his own spear.

Thus chastised, I shall return to my utterly, unquestionable impartial and fair stance on all matters.    :lookaround

It was actually Supersub, though he was running with an idea he took from a spat between Mick and Benny in another thread.

you can feel free to sprinkle it liberally through your posts and let it nestle amongst all the other inappropriate and ill chosen words you use, red  :;):   :D

yes, we look like we probably are beginning to perform a maneuver that could easily be described as a tailspin. or even a flatspin, a tailslide, a snap turn or an immelman.

anyway, this is all a bit silly isn't it? some people thought differently than some other people and said so and now others think differently than still others and they say so as well. the upshot being that no one can stand each other any more.

funny old world, isn't it.

It reminds me of a political commentator a few years ago saying Tony Blair's policies were actually to the right of where Margaret Thatcher had been 10 years previously. Funny old game because the Tories were still slagging off Labour for being left wing socialist mumbo-jumbos.

Rafa's right/rafa's wrong, Roys's a hero/Roy's in a tailspin..... its all the same at the end of the day, nowt changes much.
