I would definately enquire about Royston Drenthe for left midfield/wing position.

huntelaar for me. We need a striker when torres is injured or we go 442. A player that hasn't been given the right service or chance at madrid cos of a certain raul. Just like owen didnt when he was there.

I'd take any of the players mentioned in the poll choices. They all are class. Real just haven't treated some of them well. Van Der Vaart, Huntelaar, Drenthe and Saviola are amongst those who can shine at any club if given regular starts. Madrid are a joke club.  :no

Would take robben in a heart beat , can improve our attack so much more and he and higuain and raul have pratically carried married this season , if they want xabi i suppose robben and 15 million seems like a good deal

Does anyone here rate Huntelaar? We still need someone to partner Torres up front and Huntelaar hasn't really made waves at Madrid but he was very good for Ajax, he might want to move. For the right price, I say get him here.

Robben's probably going to leave, can't see him playing second fiddle to Ronaldo but I have a feeling Man City's going to swoop for him.

I don't rate Huntelaar no. I think we've had our fill of Dutch strikers who looked good over there but subsequently turned out to be hugely disappointing once they arrived at Liverpool. If he was any good (Huntelaar) then he'd be getting a game at Real Madrid. After all, we hammered them 5-0 so they were hardly World beaters last season and he couldn't even get in their team.

If he was available at 6 million quid or something then fair enough lets throw the dice, but them silly c...s will want their money back even though he's flopped and doesn't get a game. Feck em, and feck him n'all.

I think Huntelaar was a regular for Madrid Mick. He only signed in January and couldn't play against us because he had already played in Europe for Ajax. He scored 8 in 20 games for Madrid.

Whether he would be another Kuyt or not is another question  :D

The difference between huntelaar n kuyt is visible when they play for holland

I don't think hunteelar was registered for the champions league knockout phase , also i wouldn't want us to sign him , why do we need someone to break up the torres and gerrard partnership which reaped about 40 goals this season and stevie's best ever for a season. As a backup , would he mind playing second fiddle most of the time , i reckon if we are to break the torres and gerrard partnership , it will be for someone like villa or eto

Im just hoping rafa lets this lad (Pacheco) have a crack at partnering torres in the pre-season friendllys, he looked impressive last year although a little light wieght, hes 18 now and hes had a year to beef up a bit in the reserves, hes small, quick, with a good touch and can finish, a bit like what torres was talking about last week, he isnt the finished article but hes a talent............
you never know he may save us the money for us to go for a quality winger..............:;):
