you'd should get anelka for about 10m. and he would guarantee goals.
think he's 28.

sell kuyt and you'd get your money back.

Sounds a good idea...
He is more likely to come at the expense of Crouch rather than Kuyt

unfortunately i think your right.

crouch tho can change a game when he comes on. offers a totally different attacking option.
kuyt just runs about a lot!

Exaactly !

I agree Crouch offers us a lot more and is a genuine threat to defenders.

Kuyt works hard - don't we all.

He lacks pace and tends to play too deep anyway.

He hasn't scored in open play in the league this season. Last season saw 12 goals from Kuyt in 34 games ( 27 starts ). Although he scored against Chelsea the rest of his goals were against mid table or bottom half teams.

Sell Kuyt and we'd get our money back? We'd be lucky to make 5 million on Kuyt. Absouloutely embarrassing to see his name on the team sheet week in week out.

As for our forwards not scoring, well it's not surprising when they don't know if they're coming or going half the time.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

How old is Anelka now

How much would he cost ?

Rafa was rumoured to be interested a couple of years ago but went for Morientes instead

Not so much how old or how much he'd cost, but how long he'd stay before moving on. I think his longest stint at any one club is 2.5 seasons.

Crouch on the other hand who ain't getting a sniff most weeks brings a little bit more.
He can hold up the ball allowing support to arrive.
He's got a bit more composure than Kuyt in front of goal.
He's able to provide a bit of skill with his good footwork.
And you always have that height to use (even though his heading is his weakest attribute), not to mention his overhead shooting abilities.

He can hold the ball up but what support and where is the goal going to come from? Torres has scored plenty while Crouch has hardly got a look in so it isn't like Torres needs Crouch's "skills". His height can lead to Mr Long-Ball, we slate the team when it happens yet want the target man on the pitch. Go figure

And having a bit more composure than Kuyt is like a man having more balls than a woman
