I thought Fowler was washed up and past it before he arrived and i haven't seen anything that has made me change my opinon.  He WAS a great striker for us, but now he's just average at best.

BTW Pongolle scored today,he gives us some options for next season.
Just hope Crouch,Cisse,Moro & Robbie score a combined 15 goals this season for us from now on-very unlikely, but if they do we can still finish 2nd

I agree ........i'm surprised the issue of our strike force has taken so long to appear on here...........
I would imagine on other Liverpool forums this issue must get discussed in about 10 threads a day...........

Fowler not the answer!?! Why - because blind linesmen have ruled two legitimate winning goals out for offside?

Pathetic.  :no

TWO Lando ?  ???

Granted yesterdays was onside but the one against Brum was MILES offside lad  :D

I'm going to stick my neck out here and introduce a different viewpoint ....that being that the problem ISN'T the strikers !

I think the way we play we don't create enough clear cut chances. Rafa obviously has us well organised but it's a rigid system based manily on not conceding and therein may lie the problem.

Yesterday Crouch and Nando could be seen defending the edge of the Liverpool penalty box on more than a few occasions and when the ball breaks their nowhere near far enough up the pitch .......

The same cannot be said of Cisse who regardless of where he plays doesn't defend in any way shape or form and is far too thick to anticiapte a counter attack :Oo:

I didn't see the replay of the Brum strike. I simply trusted the comments by Sky during the Charlton game!!!!

Either way, he finished them both expertly.
For this gimp "Bogman_Dan" to say he isn't the answer is as premature as it is idiotic!!! If LFCfans of all people don't realise that Robbie has ALWAYS needed to play on through to fitness, then there's really no hope for them. :(
