what about kevin davis dont laugh as a cheap option. I could just see torres feeding off davis scraps in the box. Plus hes a good impact player coming off the bench.

Positives is Maxi and Aqua should improve next season after an interesting intro to the premiership.

Weve got some guy on a free coming in the summer who is supposed to be decent.

Insua and Ngog although a way off are improving.

We have four central defenders

We are ok for holding midfielders and Lucas will improve again next season

I would spend every penny we have on a partner for Torres or even a similar style of striker

Oh yeah, bring youngsters through because we have no real choice but to strengthen the squad in that way

No. But if we had a lot of money, how about we just buy him instead?

Would love Pato playing for us... haha... but traditionally it is very hard to pry away Milan players even if we have money...

We should sign Assulin from Barca, only 18 years old, and some say he might be the new Messi, excellent midfielder, and his contract expires this summer. Real and Arsenal are already showing interest in him, but we might have an advantage in luring him to Anfield trough his country mate, Benayoun.

Theres a few need moving on and we need a clear out after a dissapointing and lifeless campaign. A number just havent cut it and done enough and need to be shifted out now. One or two coming in will not be enough because we need to freshen up this squad and breathe new life into the team. Above anything good young footballers that are mobile and are comfortable on the ball.We are far too static as a unit and the play is slow.It must be quickended up with some mobility and pace.

Keep Reina, Carra, Agger, Johnson, Mascha, Gerrard, Maxi, Aquaman and Torres and sell the rest to give the manager (whoever it will end up being) a sizeable transfer kitty to spend on new players.

The alternative of course is we accept a £60m, £70 or £80m bid for Torres and use that to bring in a couple of top, top class players.
